Tecno Camon 30 Premier officially launched

It seems to act like an IP54 device from what I've seen (I've seen a few IP54 devices with similar survivability, such as the Redmi Note 13). As usual, even if your device is IP68 rated : A safety measure won't stop human error, only reduce the chance of damage by one. IP-rating is a test, not the final result on your device you bought.

As for protection, a lot of people recently have said it is using Gorilla Glass 5 screen. As this isn't the official statement, I won't call it as such yet.

The more a chipset being used, the more it being optimized. Like for example, lower processor like the Helio G85 might be optimized for gaming more than higher Snapdragon 685 since more phone used that processor. Dimensity 7200 might be more optimized than Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, etc.

        - Play with emulators
        - Do Custom-ROM on your phone
        Then Snapdragon might be a better choice for you. Otherwise, MediaTek is also great for most usage.

And Mediatek is cheaper.

              Valor Review on YT tried the Pro version, and it'll survive water spray and entering a short bath of water. I am interested to see if anyone will do a proper scratch test, drop test and actual water test on these devices myself.

Snapdragon usually gives a better ISP than any of it's competitor, and also better at custom ROM and emulation support. Other than that, there's not much different.

I once used the axon 7 before, and although it was late, it really did receive updates for two years. Then, after that, I switched to many phone brands until switching back to ZTE Axon 30. I've been using ZTE phones since then. Now, I'm typing with my RedMagic 9 Pro Plus.

                                    There are two things I hate about ZTE updates. First, they are arriving super late. Second, sometimes you have to install them manually, which requires downgrading your OS first, meaning a factory reset.

                                      Idk if it's just me or the back panel looks like Xiaomi 13 ultra with the slope, or I'm blind it's just an illusion by design
