This phone looks great. Looking forward to get one.
Are they planning to have Redmi 14 pro this year?

Anonymous, 22 Apr 2024it's made by Qualcomm with 3nm node tsmc Nahh it's not. Check this out.

the poco came out after the redmi and after new soc's which negates a lot of this. i already got the redmi pro [not +, to me that was of no use as no snap soc]. i would still have got the redmi after reading this as it has better cam and has the all important 3.5mm.

In real life 7s Gen2 outperforms Dimensity 7200 in terms of efficiency because the latter only have 2 big cores, thus 6 small cores are needed when performing demanding tasks. And we all know small cores designed by ARM are garbage...

Process is not everything, design is also important.

Don't get me wrong, I know that Samsung is kinda improving lately in terms of both performance and efficiency, but their processors is still 2-3 steps behind the TSMC-made one and not as efficient as the one from TSMC.

I have the X6 Pro and according to AIDA64 the little cluster downclocks to 480Mhz and the big cluster to 400Mhz when there's no user input.
Back then I didn't know if I should get the Note 13 Pro or the X6 Pro but I think I made the right choice.

Mills, 21 Apr 2024Both are 4nm but D8300, I presume, has adaptive clock speed... moreLocked clock speed are better than adaptive one, even with potentially higher score of adaptive.

Poco F6 will be the real deal though.

My iPhone does this and I monitor the clock speed at times and the clock speed of the cores go down by a set of numbers

In my country redmi note 13 pro 5G cost about $270 and X6 Pro cost $315. $45 dollar difference. Redmi note 13 pro 5G comparable to X6 regular cost about $250

TL;DR Get X6 Pro if you don't care about cameras and focus solely on performance and speakers. Get Redmi if you don't mind the slower chip but does want (slightly) better camera.

I was almost decided to buy note 13 pro but then I saw someone recommending X6 pro in the comment box. So instead of poco x6 pro I bought K70E due to slighter bigger battery than X6 pro. I don't regret a bit. It's an awesome phone and Xiaomi did a great job with their K70 series phones. Note 13 pro is a total waste of money. If anyone try to defend for camera. I'd say k70E did a good job and also gcam port works just fine.

I thought the Note 13 Pro would have a better active user score than the X6 Pro

People are complaining about high heating and low to average battery life of X6 Pro but this comparison doesn't mention any of it. Is it because of climate in your area?
