" Accessing AltStore PAL requires a small annual fee - €1.50. "
Well, its only a true competitor when this fee is eliminated.

I've heard of AltStore before. I think I used it when I jailbroke my iPod Touch 5.

Scary if it requires an annual fee does that mean esp. gaming it requires adverts
What the EU & US should be clamping down on are advert
We pay for the data the ad uses I have just uninstalled another set of games between each game another ad. game, ad, game ad, 15 seconds 30 seconds
I mean if this carries on even the comment field won't be ad free

SuperSpruce, 18 Apr 2024Another win for the EU. Additionally, it would be cool ... more$1 per annum means that if the average user downloads more than 2 apps, it would be making less than what apple charges them... It's not them that need to reduce the fees, it's apple

Finally, I can install Delta on my iPhone without jailbreak 👏🏻👏🏻 it's already available worldwide.
Delta is better emulator since it support natively PS, XBOX controller unlike emulator in Android 🙄🤦🏻♂️
This thanks to iOS for supporting those controller natively 👏🏻👏🏻

Another win for the EU.
Additionally, it would be cool if the altstorePAL would allow people to pay $1 per app install rather than $1.50 per year.

This is probably the most excited I've ever been for the mobile space. I'm so excited to see what the bionic chips do in emulation as that is really the only way to push these super powerful SoCs now a days.
Just seeing what they are capable of in this space is so godamn exciting. This might be the single thing that will make me get an Apple device in the future. Here's hoping it opens up tk beyond just EU.

AltStore Phase-Altering-Line? Do the people behind this actually understand why it was NTSC and PAL?

Can you guys in the EU next do something about the stupid fees Apple charges to use third-party app stores? Pretty sure once the court case in the US is resolved, we won't have to deal with that garbage.

This is what I call, progress. In ten years or so, the ios ecosystem will be at the same level android was in the first year of existence.
