An excellent alternative to Samsung, OnePlus and others? Or perhaps good but overpriced?

Disappointment is the most kind thing I can say about the current Edge 50 Ultra and Pro.
Edge 40 Pro had so much potential, and ironically still has for a lower price compared to these two.

"costs too much" is the perfect answer to all three devices. All of them are decent devices but are sold at a price far beyond their worth. If they reduced the price by 30% it would seem a little more reasonable.
$1000 for an 8sGen 3 is crazy, while brands like Nubia are selling their flagship phones with 8 Gen 3 for only $700...
