Bought this and really love it. It has the core features i like. The battery lasts a lot longer than an Apple watch and the screen is nice and bright. i also really love the ease to remove the watch straps and there are many after market replacement options.

The only annoyance I find is with unlock. There is tap to wake, but wearing the watch under clothing - this can activate itself all the time. I wish it had double-tap to wake as an option.

    I've owned it for a month now. Positive side: comfortable, big crisp and colorful screen, you may preset your quick responses to Calls you don't want to take. Down-side: First, battery does not last 14 days - that's a clear overstatement. I switched off everything I could and still could get out only 7 days. Even, when the battery says "12 hours left" it shuts off in 4 hours. Secondly, timer - once you set it, you have only the timer on screen!!! You can't even see a watch/time or notifications - nothing - just your timer count-down.

      I just bought mine, wrist wrap is too short. It's not made for big people. Band 6 has longer cord.
      It's nice to have vibration on your wrist but since it doesn't fit I can't look at it with objective eyes. Using 2nd to last button on my wrist wrap and it keeps popping out even when I pull my hand out of my pocket. It's so bad.

I sleep quite well and I don't wake up easily during sleep, but the vibration on the arm of the Smart Band 8 (non-pro) version does indeed work very well for me.

              The on-display bezels and the shiny plastic casing says a lot. The guts of the watch seems ok except for a lack of memory but overall; buy or bye? Bye bye.

                Can I get Google Maps to display on the watch? Because I ride a bike and I would love to have something that shows me the directions while I'm riding.

                  Only the wearer gets woken up. Not the spouse nor the kids.

                  Great if not everyone has to get up at the same time. I also use the alarm for reminders throughout the day. In example when it's time to leave from work to pick up kids and time for kids to go to bed and time for me to go to bed. Much better with an alarm on my wrist rather than my phone which I try to use as little as possible and I also don't have to keep such a keen eye on the time throughout the day.

                    been using this for nearly a month
                    surely its sensors are not top notch compared to those in Garmin etc., but hey this has superb value
                    GNSS is also not top notch, yet again with such small device and price, I can live with it, and as a layman (not professional athlete or close to pro fitness person) I don't really need that accuracy

                      As a 8 Pro global version user, i have a few complaints for those who are deciding to buy the 8 Pro.

                      1. 8 Pro cannot handle many notifications at once. If 2 messages are received at the same time, one will show and another one will be shown as a pop-up which is annoying.
                      2. By clearing or dismissing notifications from the notification panel on 8 Pro means you clear notifications from your phone as well. I overlooked some messages because of this
                      3. The auto activity tracking is not accurate. I am driving and the watch detected me as cycling. For a short 10 mins drive, the watch prompted me twice
                      4. The refresh of each data is slow. I was using huawei band 6 before switching to 8 Pro, and I can see my steps increasing as I walk. 8 Pro you gotta wait for a second for the steps to shown accumulatively. Same for your sleep data, heart rate etc viewed from the widget

                          As for the Band 8 Pro, had it @ 59 EUR, returned it after 3 days.
                          Sensors haven't the best accuracy and I doesn't find a watchface taht suit me and/or my needs as I want.
                          Good battery though, not great but very good.
                          I kept my Watch 3 Titanium in the end, the snappiness and the customization are better :)

                            No smartwatch is worthy, just more expensive.

                              2) the point is in notifications, sleep and step tracking. These alone are worth it for me.
                              Also stopwatch/countdown when commuting/cooking.

Gamification. Also, this looks to be more of a cheaper smartwatch alternative than a fitness tracker first and foremost. Just like the iPod touch was a cheaper iPhone alternative but without calling instead of just a music player.
