This is how Samsung dig their own grave.

This is world wide issue and my S21 FE got green line after update.

Samsung never has good reputation for durability and it will be getting worst as their phone last shortter than software update guarantee.

Started with S20 era and it was lockdown period too. And they managed to spread this other brands who imported defective Samsung panels.

Last year March, I paid $400 to replace my Note 20.Ultra screen from Samsung Service centre even though I paid 2 years extended warranty they didn't bother! All Samsung and OnePlus screens develop this after few years of use!

And the Indian market is huge to loose a portion. If you take a neighboring country like Sri Lanka, Samsung probably don't even care about such small markets.

That was really fast thank you Samsung.

My sister had a S20FE after only few months of usage it got ruined by the green plague.

Now they have moved on to cheaper models by other brands.

Pentile OLED screen are peak stupidity. Companies should bring back LCD/IPS on flagship and midrange phones. Better production yield, easier on the eyes (no low-frequency PWM and weird sub-pixel arrangement), no burn-in or colour shifting due to sub-pixels aging differently.

Xperias during the S20 era, and probably onwards, were ruined by samsung defective panels. You end up playing the lottery with Mark 2 and Mark 3 models.
