Average Vivo Enjoyer, 23 Apr 2024Indeed, it doesn't serve any practical use.Until Vivo starting to do it - which we know Vivo will follow eventually given how often Huawei is copied by other Chinese OEMs - then its useless for you, am I right?

Do you know that the word Pura means = to satisfy and fulfill the wishes of some thing , the name is an inspiring name and the device capability is a real prove of the meaning for that name , Huawei is the bets technology firm of this Era

Vin Aigre, 23 Apr 2024To be thinner is not practical?Go look at videos of it. It's barely thinner. It's practically useless because the camera bump is still there.
If the camera could retract to get a thinner camera bump than what we have nowadays then okay. But that's not the case.

Vin Aigre, 23 Apr 2024I am curious why they choosed Pura instead of Pure. Pure is American/English word.

Because of sanction from US, I guess they hate the language 😂

[deleted post]Yeah having a sample is completely equal to consumer products that have mass release with a better water resistant than s24u! It's definitely not the first, we had similar things from galaxy S4 zoom, to (itel infinix tecno) sister brands. The first one used that for optical zooming, the second one was mostly (if not completely) gimmick. What Huawei used here is more sensible than what other brands used while it is still more gimmick that practical.

When Infinix did something similar not long ago? Did you even look up the Infinix phone that had that technology? I'm not even a Huawei hater.

If it was Samsung or Apple who innovates with a retractable camera the fanboys will be telling WOW this is so good and practical! You will buy even for 2000 USD.

But when this Innovation is coming from Huawei you say it is useless and nonsense.

                                        It shows your hypocrisy.
