AnonF-1061058, 24 Apr 2024I thought G99 is the same as D6100+?the 6100+ is effectively a downgrade compared to G99/Dimensity 810/6080. it is basically 6nm version of dimensity 700 but with eMMC level storage speed.

Umidigi G1 Tab Mini display is HD, not FHD as mentioned in the article.

Transsion Holdings, eg. Tecno, Infinix & iTel gives better software support so I suggest going for them instead.
Though the plus side they provide unlock bootloader if you want to go custom rom if there's one available.

Does umidigi do software updates now? I had their first "flagship" kickstarter phone and the support was very lacking and they eventually just gave up on it.

I had an Umidigi some years back as a temp phone. You can get a lot of bang for the buck with them. But back then they weren't to generous with the updates.

you have to suffer, 23 Apr 2024i meant the a15 ultra. not realme thoughHuaFuRus (Cubot) and Keysmart (Umidigi) are different companies. Both are ODMs though and most ODMs copy iPhone designs because iPhones are popular or something

So basically they have the same chipset
