Moondrop reveals additional MIAD 01 details

It sells for USD 400 and beside audio components everything else is quite meh. Plus risk of a bleeding-edge OS experience and lack of updates. Makes way more sense to attach a USB dongle DAC/AMP to a more reliable phone.

    I'm imagining a lot of separation from the phone ecosystem... Because I suspect Google doesn't allow this. They don't want a phone to replace a camera/ audio player, etc. Its visible in their decisions.

    I imagine a huge struggle for Moondrop, if at all they go ahead with this.

      Shtop it, it's unfair to outcompete the competition by making products people want. That's not how your supposed to do it, your supposed to just be big enough to force people to buy your crappy products like apple and Samsung.

                                      Personally, I just want a decent phone with a headphone jack at a $500 price point. With decent audio quality, decent main camera, maybe telephoto, 128gb memory, 6gb ram (or more), decent chipset (don't need flagship or anything) and decent battery life (2 days, all I ask for it two days under average, not heavy use). I don't need giant battery, 512gb of space, curved OLED screen (good quality FLAT IPS with 120hz refresh rate is good enough), a charger in the box, AI, super macro 2mp camera, ultrawide gimmick, dual front camera, or any other feature that is added purely to inflate the price.

                                      I'll probably have to give up on the camera, though, and buy Sony A7C II (or Fuji). But I certainly won't give up on the headphone jack, I don't want to go back to the days of having separate music gadget (mp3 player, ipod or whatever) separate from the phone and miss every single call/notification/alarm because my phone is not synced with my music device.
