Until samsung brings multi-point connection to its tws, I will never consider them. I use my jabra tws all day at work. It connects to both my work laptop(Dell) and my phone(samsung) at the same time. I use it in online meetings and phone calls all day. It is a must for me to seemlessly switch between them 10-15 times a day.

Curious to see what 2 years of development will bring for the 3 pros.

The Live Translation is done on phone (or cloud?), it's artificially limited to any particular brand of ear buds

DeepIn2U, 26 Apr 2024I own them too. Coming from 2yrs of Apple AirPods Pro (... more"wearing them at high volume+ANC"

          - hello hearing loss

Vijay, 25 Apr 2024I own Buds 2 Pro, it offers 24bit hi-fi audio, Dolby ATMOS ... moreI own them too.

Coming from 2yrs of Apple AirPods Pro (quality for quality, price:value, and feature:feature, and colours) - this beats them hands down. Also used the Sony 1000-XM2's which I absolutely LOVE the combo silicon+foam tips!

I pray the Samsung Buds3Pro's have that. it would eliminate the heat+sweat generated over 2hrs of wearing them at high volume+ANC that for some reason causes mine to simply fall out my tiny ears. Never had this with the Apple (due to the design; weight is below ear canal) nor the Sony's due to their passive ANC with very filling silicon+foam inserts).

Anonymous, 25 Apr 2024Makes sense considering Samsung phones don't allow LHD... moreThis is what Galaxy Buds2Pro's support:
              24-bit Hi-Fi audio support:
2-way speakers, for wide frequency response Woofer.
delivers deeper bass Tweeter, produces crisp treble.
Active Noise Canceling (ANC) w/ 3 high SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) microphones.
              360 Audio experience on Dolby Atmos, supporting enhanced head tracking;
              - specifically: The 360 Audio with Direct Multi-channel (5.1ch / 7.1ch) for Galaxy smartphones and tablets 5 and Direct Multi-channel (5.1ch) for Samsung TVs, 6 ensures every movement stays in sync!
Live Translation during calls - new feature (price value just went up)
in-person conversations switching (enabled in settings) uses Ambient function - this was here before Apple AirPods Pro's.
IPx7 Water Resistance: I use rubbing alchohol to clean the ear sweat off of these and there have been NO HW nor performance issues since October 2023!
Samsung's Seamless codec supports up to 24-bit HiFi audio with a maximum bitrate of 512Kbps and a low of 88Kbps.
^ its been PROVEN Sony's LDAC at 9xxKbps is VERY finicky even on their own Xperia top line smartphones when around anyone else using bluetooth headphones (several people within 10ft radius). Its a great and TRUE Hi-Fi (registered and stamped) but too many cut outs. I do NOT experience this with my music over Samsung Music. I stream but I like to OWN my music!

Glad that haven't bought Buds Pro 2. If this comes in summer under 250 dollars will buy. Bought S24 Plus and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic too. Will wait for Watch 7 series to see if it is better than Watch 6 series. If so may replace. So will have 2024 collection.

Do you want to buy a new smartphone and you already have Samsung earplugs? So, you have to buy Samsung phone or new earplugs for new phone. Like it works with Apple.

I own Buds 2 Pro, it offers 24bit hi-fi audio, Dolby ATMOS and 360 audio, which is similar to LDAC I guess, it's almost 1 year never faced any issues with my buds and the audio quality and bass is great.

I wish Samsung made a Semi-Open Earbuds with no silicon tips & had the case vertical instead of horizontal. (Buds Live was a big failure…)

If I wanted headphones, I'd go to JBL, Sony and various Amazon sellers (Beribes ANC is a solid 7/10). But yea, in typical Samsung fashion, they don't use Dolby Vision on their phones, and instead use HDR10+ so, I'm not surprised they going with their own codec.

dcdev, 25 Apr 2024Of course only Samsung codec for better quality? No LHDC, n... moreMakes sense considering Samsung phones don't allow LHDC, LDAC at best.

Honestly I don't really care, when I want to listen to some higher quality audio I grab my wired headphones with a USB-C dac, as for audio I have used buds with LHDC and LDAC, when you watch videos I prefer LHDC above LDAC, but considering I use high bandwidth tws only for music, LDAC is enough for me (next buds will be LHDC)

SSC on it's own is fine too, but for most people SBC or AAC (sadly) is enough, a lot of people don't even use music services that support more than 320kbps at 16bit and if they do, they barely ever use it even if they have the right hardware for it.

However at this price Samsung should support better codecs, SSC is fine like I said but there are LDAC options (which work on Samsung too) and they crush it.

Anyhow I would be only interested in Samsung their earbuds if they came with Galaxy Buds Live 2, I can't stand buds that go into my ear canal and need regular ones like the Buds Live, Airpods 3 or what multiple Soundpeats models use.
