hey not fair sony....ive got the xperia z before two weeks n now u say tht ur gonna introduce a refreshed version... :( the phone is great to use....with 0-no lag....the camera could have been a bit better..

abhijit, 24 Jun 2013Seriously pal, you are saying that other than Samsung all o... moreWhat I was trying to say was that no matter how many phones Samsung makes, their flagships REMAIN flagships for a whole year, and are not replaced after a few months. This generally leads to a happy userbase.
Just look at HTC; in the time it took Samsung to go from GS3 to GS4, htc made the One X, Butterfly, One X+ and One. How did the guy who took a 2 year contract One X and/or paid a decent amount of money feel when the butterfly came out? How did the Butterfly and One X+ owners feel when the One came out just a few months after they bought their "flagships".
Most OEMs are basically fighting themselves by placing products that compete with eachother in relatively short periods of time.
In contrast to that, Samsung has two clearly defined flagships (Galaxy S and Note) which are different enough to not compete with eachother and they will remain the fastest phone the company has to offer until they are refreshed next year. Apple does the same thing; 1 flagship per year, and not 1 flagship every 2 months.
I'm not saying this is the reason why Samsung and Apple are the only 2 profitable smartphone makers, but it certainly doesnt hurt, don't you think?

Do you know hpw many variants the galaxy s3 had? And do u know how man variants of s4 have been released yet and how many are still being worked on? Also they hqve launched innumerable phones this year! Way too many!
Not a fan of any brand, just like good phones!
