The Switch Lite, for example, is $199.99, and Nintendo has to give discounts to retail stores. Obviously, retail stores won't sell the Switch Lite for $199.99 if they buy one from Nintendo for $199.99. How much profit do you think Nintendo gets from selling a Switch Lite?

Igues, 30 Apr 2024They atleast dont have the numbers stated in the article.The Switch sold over 139 million units. It's possible that there are over 45 million active Switch users in the EU. Switch users can switch to other platforms anytime they want to, though. Also, many games aren't available on the Switch.

Console manufacturers have barely any if not no profit margines on the hardware they sell, unlike Apple.
They rely on software sales to make profit, unlike Apple.
If they can't sell their own software, they will die out, unlike Apple.
Now tell me, why should a product with a different business strategy receive the same treatment as another product with a much mods different business strategy?

I don't like iPadOS at all. I thought it would be a hybrid combination of iOS and MacOS, but seeing that it's not either of them, it makes me think why Apple would bother put a computer chipset inside a tablet which doesn't have all the capabilities a laptop has. Idk, but something seems off
