          I left xiaomi in 2020 after using 2 different xiaomi phones and move to Samsung. Best decision ever.

          I dont want to experience bloated+ overheating battery again for every 1.5 years of using xiaomi phone.

                The snapdragon 8 gen 4 is power hungry because of higher clock and also no efficiency core, need bigger battery to compensate that. I don't think there's a mobile game or app need that kind of processor

My sis using RN 4X till date, just having ghost touch issue but she's dealing with that. In general, no issue with Xiaomis' hardware (except for few), the problem more in the software. That's why I'd always keep the OS version as it was launched. Perhaps, since too many phones released, the R&D cannot address all the bugs reported.

Also there's a reason why so many people wants to run MacOS on their iPad. Both for the same reason — multitasking.

                      Hopefully they place the fingerprint scanner a bit higher than the Xiaomi 14

                              The Xiaomi 14 is a very good phone. I think only really 2 things I'd like to see.
                              1. A silicon carbide battery to increase the battery capacity without increasing the size.
                              2. A better sensor with a 3-3.5x periscope instead of the 2.6x telephoto on the Xiaomi 14. The telephoto was the weakest amongst all the Chinese brands at the same price point this year
                              That's all I'd like to personally see in terms of upgrades apart from the processor of course

                                SD gen 4 gonna be so hot, super hot. 4ghz only for 3 min to pass geekbench test and then back to 2ghz.

                                        I feel like we're gonna see a time when flagships come out at October or something globally and new chips come out in March or something. Idk why phones are releasing so much faster when improvements in phones are slowing down. Chip makers ain't gonna be able to make a new chip every year at one point. Why not create a new standard and release phones/ chips once every 2 years? Like Phones need to become like the PC market or have some revolutionary change like a new type of foldable or something. Like Samsung's foldables have already stagnated and it takes 3 years to get a nice huge update.
