Let me guess.. you didn't saw "VoLTE" and proclaimed with no fact-checking that it isn't supported!
Maddening, a 25th anniversary 4g phone wouldn't be completely adjusted to the modern technology? Your answer lies within "LTE Cat1". You can google about it but "VoLTE" is included in that internationally standardize protocol among other things.
You can rest assured your phone will be working perfectly fine. Just make sure in the phone settings you have the network selected as: 2G/3G/4G.
    You're all good!

A phone I do not own (yet) but hopefully during black week I will get a discounted price, cannot wait. Screw modern smartphones. :) [If I need to do more complicated stuff, erm, um, oh yeah... it... is... called.. a .....? .........COMPUTER .......jeeez]

The new Nokia 3210 4G LTE doesn't support VoLTE (Voice over LTE) calling!

It cannot be used for phone calls in 4G network, only 2G and 3G, which are being (or have been) phased out worldwide in many countries. Terrible. I bought one and found out afterwards that it doesn't support VoLTE.

In other words, this new device is a 4G non-VoLTE device.

It's 2024, not 2004. Physical T9 keyboards are only a nostalgic tech curiosity, nothing more. I have lived though the eras of floppy disks, rotary dial phones, cassette tapes etc. Many of you probably weren't born.

Zack, 23 May 2024No proper fb or at least WhatsApp, Line or WeChat it'... moreIf you think it's dumb, then it's probably not for you.

They could have put in a better chip though, instead of that 22nm Unisoc chip from China.

I don't get it why Nokia just doesn't want to go android with physical T9 keyboard. Just look at Duoqin F22 pro and F21 pro.

Nokia is still in the Neverland with Peter Pan, scared of growing up with their feature phones idea which will definitely ended up wilting over the years due to no product updates and support not just from the company, but also apps developers of the selected platform.

Please just don't blindly go back to your root, try considering latest tech and non-obsolete trends to be paired up with. For years people are screaming at Nokia to make an Android base with physical keyboards/keypads, if that is the case i would still prefer Nokia to have a look at F22 pro with the T9 layout, QWERTY is optional as i had one xpressmusic 5730, the tactile feel are nice but it just cramped for a small phone

For 80 EUR you can buy an actual smartphone. So many orders of magnitude more capable, even with the crappy 8x A53 SoC that will come with the price.

Nokia/HMD Should release a new version of Nokia x3-02 Touch n Type with 4g.

Maybe Nokia want money not only for the brand but also for the design. So HMD make new mobiles don't not similar to the original ones Nokia. Just this is style old phones with buttons. It isn't original Nokia. Your Cap.

I wish that Nokia would revive the Asha series. My Asha 501 festival/travel phone needs a replacement.
What I need are basic communication tools and ultra long battery life:
                          4G
                          USB-C
                          Torch
                          FM radio
Long battery life (preferably a week of standby)
                          WiFi with hotspot
                          E-mail (gmail+outlook)
                          SMS (maybe even RCS)
                          Basic browser
                          Contact synchronization

A few years ago KaiOS was trying something but it seems to have lost all traction and no new devices coming.

They should mąkę it look more modern at the very least. Keep the physical numerical keyboard obviously and modernize it, but make the screen have thinner bezels

Loooks more like 3310 from 2017 era.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't like it either.

Are we saying that modern software developers in 2024 don't know how to put in T9? Or some other smart system that would 'aid users'. Or have menu with numerical value so you just type 1-2 and new message opens. The little things that make the experience.
