loko, 10 May 2024well - there is complete lack of options on US market. ... moreThe USA always puts so many deliberate bans and obstacles on Asian technology consumer products to make it not worth while like banning sale of the flagship of the brand and allowing the low to mid IF that onto the USA market as a choice. It wants and expects to sell American phones and consumer electronics in Asia and China but doesn't expect the same the other way round! Notice even the most ganouybest selling Japanese cars they HAVE to change the model name of that which it's known by globally. So the US customers freedom of choice isn't avaliable after all.

The only phone in my life that I have changed before it was dead or nearly dead is my Motorola g82
The software support is just horrible. Doesn't matter how good the hardware is when the software support is just plain terrible.

The only problem with Motorola phones is lack of frequent software update unlike Samsung. That prevent many people to buy Motorola phones.

most android vendors are shadow banned from this market.
if Motorola gives good updates policy for this model (matches at least oneplus) - i'm willing to even overlook the curved screen and lack of 3.5 and relatively small battery
