Interesting, but $300 for some glorified frame with speakers in kinda high.
Also where would you use this as a headset? Considering they don't even go in the ear the sound would have to be very much audible to everyone around - if that is not the case then you still couldn't use this in a space with much external sounds, a mall, for example, or even generally, in a basic city.
Plus, the lens would probably cost more too, in order to get fitted in the frame, and you'd likely not be able to get them from many clinics besides those affiliated with zeiss or those which know of the frame

I feel this is a product that sounded better on paper than IRL

Also that camera part this other guys are talking about, I feel that could very much be used to record stuff you're not supposed to, places/people. No camera was a deliberate choice, at least that's what I think.

never went to full scale production because it had nothing but pure bugs! Limitations etc.

Separating the colorful ad vs function it was terrible. Many have made better improvements.

I think Sergei is still out there somewhere testing it lost on GoogleMaps in the wilderness lol

Solun1, 10 May 2024"Smart" glasses without a camera. Google had that... moreInteresting, I did not notice until you point out. The glasses itself looks nice and cool. And 11hours is not bad. Now, I think I can use my phone as camera since I carry my phone almost everywhere. I hope I can use smart glasses to check online or listen music. Glasses with camera can be creeper.

Solun1, 10 May 2024"Smart" glasses without a camera. Google had that... moreIt's not something wrong with Huawei. It's just the Brand's goal is different. For example Google made their smart glasses for the alternative of the smartphones. However, Huawei's goal was to make a smart glasses which naturally fits inside to their HarmonyOS ecosystem. Huawei has a huge HarmonyOS ecosystem. They have Cars, Smartphones, Tablets, Smart Watches, TV, Speakers, Location Tracker, health monitoring watch (Watch D), Laptops, earphones and lastly, the smart glasses.

"Smart" glasses without a camera. Google had that 10 years ago, what's going on with Hauwei?
