Disadvantages of windows OS:
1. Lack of apps and games.
2. Apps are a little bit costly.
3. We can't set wallpapers and make the tiles transparent like in Sailfish OS.
4. We can't save music or video files.
5. We can't install apps from other sources.
6. No system wide file manager.
7. Less video codecs support.
8. Too much restricted OS and only supports less capable hardwares.
9. No support for USB OTG so we can't attach an Xbox controller to play games.
10. Very less customization options.
Just because of this things, Windows isn't successful yet. I believe it Microsoft somehow manages to overcome all these disadvantages of Windows phone 8 then it'd be a nice OS otherwise both Microsoft and Nokia is gonna be dominated by Samsung, Sony, HTC, Apple, and other Android manufacturers.
