raj, 15 May 2024Humans are going to think and reason less than ever.I don't think anyone has ever used their brains when doing their homework. We all looked up answers to the question as a teenager.

ProMax Ultra, 15 May 2024"Google has unveiled a new feature for Circle to Searc... more"Isn't it a shortcut to make students even dumber than they already are?"
Dumber people will use Google (and similar) services more and will more easily be swayed into buying stuff they don't need. Will also more gladly provide their data as they won't know how to breathe without AI any more meaning even more personal data for them to work with for targeting. So many a seller profits and Google profits from the sellers' ads etc.
I know I will be disabling each and every "AI" function on every device I own. Thankfully still have enough gray matter to not need it and I certainly don't want any of it.

Unfortunately that is very common in today's world. Blame others, fire them for listening to your orders and keep moving forward.

CamoGeko-XDA, 14 May 2024So Google can now do your homework for ya.If google or anyone else can do your homework, then why would anyone hire you?
After the end of your student life be prepared for doomsday.
If i were a employer, i would choose google or someone like google, than choosing a human and get headache of managing them.
Google can give 24 hour output but an human can give just 8 hour if i obey labour rules and if not maximum 12 to 14 hour workload can be extracted from a humanbody per day.
That's less.
So, ditch human is only option left in this case.

ProMax Ultra, 15 May 2024"Google has unveiled a new feature for Circle to Searc... moreSchools are already adapting learning to use AI, not trying to ban it. Anything else would be braindead, as it's an advanced learning tool. It is obviously not without all sorts of hurdles. The bits concerning learning the "basics" without AI will obviously have to be adapted to minimise cheating.

"Google has unveiled a new feature for Circle to Search. It can now help students with homework. When a student circles a prompt they're stuck on, they will receive step by step instructions to solve "a range of physics and math word problems without leaving their digital info sheet or syllabus".
Honestly speaking,a student who'll rely on AI everytime he's stuck at some point, how can & how much is he gonna learn? Isn't it a shortcut to make students even dumber than they already are?
"Gemini on Android will "soon" understand what app you're in and what you're doing inside it in order to be more helpful.
Google says it's testing a new feature that uses Gemini Nano to provide real-time alerts during a call if it detects "conversation patterns commonly associated with scam
The protection all happens on-device."
It all sounds very creepy.not sure about it's benefits but privacy seems like joke nowadays.
Anyway....Enjoy the AI Era.

Will circle to search ever become a general Android feature on all devices?
