They can make an 8 inch Pro Max for all I care, as long as they keep a somewhat reasonable size that is narrow enough to be comfortably used with one hand, where the swipe back gesture from the left edge in the right hand is easily doable

from the side by side picture, it appears that it's way less than 5mm taller, more like 2, which is hardly different
