MindTheGap, 18 May 2024I will say it again. As long as native app compatibility is... moreLunar Lake will likely come much closer to these Qualcomm chips than any prior x86 chips...assuming manufacturers actually put large batteries in them.

I will say it again. As long as native app compatibility is still a problem on WoA, I'm gonna stay with my x86 chipset. I'd rather have a shorter battery life rather than have a smaller app support.

Considering that the SD chips are meant to be cheaper to make than the Intel and AMD (allegedly), I'm surprised at the price. But hopefully we'll see more X and Elite Plus models in the weeks to come.

I don't know if they really want to take over the Max crowd (who still prefer windows, but want better battery life).

With that pricing, it's just a very hard sell!!

Whatever happened to that article of the SD X Elite costing almost ½ as much of a modern i7 / Core Ultra 7 ??

Simply too high, even M1 Macbook Air launched at the 1000 mark for lowest config, this is robbery.

ngl that's an insane pricing for a first gen chipset. But then again, I'm sure other X Elite laptops would be much cheaper than that.
