If BlackBerry prices Q10 like that.. its going to see more revenue loss and very low shipment increase.

BlackBerry should have dropped the price of their new devices from the start. Also they should have introduced all three devices together at realistic prices. It would have made their handsets spread faster, thus, making their newly touted OS to reach a wider audience. People would have made quite a wide buzz which would have gained them stronger demands and more profit.
But no. They chose the apple exclusivity route. Too bad. No one I know who owns a BB10 device talks about their phone mostly because they have a hard time talking about something they cannot even use effectively, much less boast about. Go figure.
They had better pull their thumbs out of their collective corporate behinds. Man of Steel adverts won't make me buy lumias and cool new BB10 OSCAR won't make me buy a BlackBerry chacha.

It's such a shame. The Q10 is such a brilliant phone. I moved from Android to BB without falter.
Yes and the Q10 is more expensive than the Z10.

blackberry is dying slowly z10 and Q10 have not been a smash hit for them blackberry still make phones with old and outdate prosessors on there flagships with very high prices blackberry is not serious

GSMArena, the Q10 is more expensive than the Z10. At least for a good $50.
The race for the 3rd OS is still on IMO. Buat at the moment WP is winning due to the wide price point that they covered ($150-$600).
They also has Nokia that keeps innovating its hardware.
BB10 OS is very good IMO. But it need to catch up with more variety of devices (across wide price points) and add more popular/quality apps into its ecosystem.

A big company takes time to turn around. It doesn't happen overnight, and the numbers reflect positive growth for BlackBerry. It's not surprising that they posted an operating loss. To declare them dead on the water right now is premature.

The battle of survival was between BlackBerry and Nokia, but it looks like Nokia have clearly won it. They've also sold double the number of Lumia smartphones than BlackBerry 10 smartphones.
