Could this actually be an iPhone 16 pictured in the wild?

If it was 3 cameras with a flashlight in the middle, then it could make sense to say that it was Xperia-inspired, which it isn't in the first place.

The Nokia 6610i from 2002 started it all.
I've noticed that those Nokia phones are far closer in terms of camera design design inspiration for the iPhone 16 series than the largely-spaced camera windows featured on Xperias.

In my case I'm not a Nokia fan, but rather a Nokia user. There was a time I never cared about the existence of Nokia-branded phones (especially during the recall incidents for consistent hardware issues on Microsoft-based feature phones and Windows phones sold in our country). While I don't support "overpriced" products, I support HMD's choices for manufacturing Nokia phones with tried and tested hardware choices, barebones stock Android, far better software support in the segment (unlike cumulative updates that inflate the bloatware in competitors from Samsung and Xiaomi) and a mandatory aluminum chassis, instead of playing it too safe and rebranding Umidigi/ZTE/Lava phones like InFocus, Energizer and Vertu, or typical unjustified overpricing in BBK and Wingtech (Samsung/Motorola) fashion.

That was my point, it was the final product that mattered most and the one that most people use to refer to stuff.

Thanks for finding out the original designers ig but at the end of the day it doesn't matter, Apple's phones' designs are mid.

If it is, it still is beyond ugly, and that is coming from someone using a "bland" S23 Ultra. This just looks like a cheap phone, it's neither simplistic nor elegant, just uninspired
