It would be great if sony really working one more smartphone other than ZUltra. Reason??? ZUltra is nice but some features like 8mp camera (no flash and degraded from 13mp level), pixel density (342ppi) is too for the competition, 32gb external memory again too low for the competition coz others are in the order of 64gb and even targeting 128gb, other extras in the software matter like the Samsung S4 has... Lets look on the sound quality. We know very well that sony is a pioneer in the audio and video technology but look at sony smartphones. Loud speakers are very poor. On the other hand, samsung devices have excellent and superior sound and even vibrates when playing mp3 files. Maybe the speakers were provided with tweeters+midrange+subwoofers... I had been a user of sony smartphones up to the time of Xperia-S but I shifted to S4 coz its specs were too far from XZ... Sony failed to convince customers thats all....

zip, 08 Jul 2013btw, sammy is using sonys camera chips:)Why does everyone bring that up. Did you also know that Samsung optimizes them better? Or that it's only the past two flagships that use Sony sensors?
On the flip side Sandisk, HTC, Crapple and so on use Samsung memory chips. HTC And crapple use Samsung displays. Crapple uses Samsung cpu, ram, nand, SSD, Auido chip, wireless housing, etc. Even other phones use Samsung chipsets.
But you don't see 20 posts every two seconds saying how Samsung makes better use of Sony's camera sensor.

All sony devices have poor sound quality. No midrange and subwoofers. Look, if u play mp3 files on samsung devices it even vibrates and very excellent sound quality. If u ask me about sony devices? No comment. I would recommend Sony to sell tomato in the market. Surely they prosper.

Ur talking as if NOTE III will just sit around the corner and wont have any non gimmicky features ..
...however let me tell u it wud be the most featurefull smartphone ...
..the best example is my NOTE II just remember the time when NOTE II was launched there was no other phone who wud try to stand besides it even now only lg optimus pro have gutts to stand besides it and no other phone
and the history will repeat with NOTE III u hate it or love it no one can stop the GOD ZONE BEAST.....troll much
Forgot to mention that lots of unhappy x users reported heating issues .....ohhh!! More butthurt ppl....lollzz.

Unless both those companies are partners in some sort then thats a whole different story. Thing is, Samsung is "borrowing" idea(s) from Sony without their knowledege? Say, you're a pioneer in a product you created with years of research, blood, sweat, and all of the sudden, a more popular me came outta nowhere and "borrowed" your idea, rebrand it with my name and sold like hot-cakes. You like it? I'd love the attention but do you get any credit? Guess not...

That is just to make a point to troll on who is better.
This whole Samsung copy cat thing because of their success has just been blown way out of proportion. What everyone is really upset about is their success and being the only ones to implement all those softwares.
In the end all companies.."ALL" are barrowing ideas and software. All. Did I mention all? But Samsung and others are also bringing their own ideas in. But they all inspire each other. Some people really need to grow up and think. Enough with the trolling.
