Tyfyh, 23 May 2024same price? 600$ and 380$ is the same price? What made you think it will sold for 380$? They already sold the x6 pro for that price, what made you think the f series will be priced the same as the x series? Its obvious the f6 will be available for 600$

Even with the newer codecs or whatever the improved hi res transmission is called, , Bluetooth still drains the batteries. Having non removable batteries makes headphones disposable which not only costs consumers money, it contributes to environmental destruction.

This, 25 May 2024User replaceable batteries instead of water resistance? Tha... morePhones should be regulated to prevent that. I guess that you've never had a non removable battery swell due to an update and ruin your device. A user replaceable battery can be taken out. Phones can become dangerous. People on tech blogs can be vicious. People in real life are becoming nastier, as well. Fine, I am an old fool, I must get with the times, I'm being ridiculous and so on. I get it. I'll make sure to buy the latest most expensive phone and show it to everyone I come into contact with, walk by, etc.

Phones became user unfriendly when they stopped letting us change the battery. Then, they followed Apple by removing expandable memory and headphone jacks. Android updates used to improve usability but for the last few years they have made it more convoluted to perform what used to be simple tasks.

I hang my head in shame for suggesting that expensive and environmentally destructive devices should be built to last longer than they do.

Sound quality is better through wired headphones through a dedicated jack than it is through USB or Bluetooth although Bluetooth is improving. Of course, you'll need to buy new headphones and earbuds to take advantage of new codecs. Wired headphones don't need to be charged and they last for years. As for that jack being 40 years old, it's much older than that. Why do you insult people here and why are you so concerned with how people listen to recorded music?

So the snapdragon 8s series is beaten in key areas by a year old flagship chipset. This should be the 7 series chipset really. Best bet ignore the 8s series and go for a year old flagship which will be offered at a similar price with better performance. Go for the F6 pro it will be much better at gaming and intensive tasks.

At this point, for Gen 3, they have 4 performance tiers crammed within the 7 and 8 series - 7 Gen 3, 7+ Gen 3, 8s Gen 3, 8 Gen 3. Ideally they should be using distinct number series for each tier, but I guess they don't want to use lower digits for the fear of giving impression of low-end chips.

Idk about the V20 tho, I remember it being praised for what it is and I even liked it a lot back then. User replaceable batteries is something that people don't get until their own phone's battery starts to go bad and they need to either let go of the water resistance to swap the batteries or sell the phone. Idk what to do with my phone, it's completely fine just that the battery has nearly halved.
