A little laggy from only 4GB of RAM, and of course running only LTE requires a little patience too, but otherwise it's perfectly serviceable. They could future-proof these a lot by adding more RAM than what's really needed at launch, but of course they won't, because that'd hurt sales down the road as people kept them. Anyway, that's long retired and I'm on 6a. It's starting to feel a little laggy too, so the 8a will probably be next. I don't care if it last 7 years. I'd never keep it that long anyway - and that's true reality of the situation, regardless of the specs, durability or updates, almost everyone except grandma is going to upgrade after 2-3 years anyway.
