This is stupid, why release another S series phone after only 5 months of the S24 being released. This is desperation from Samsung to grapple at market shares from competition due to falling sales recently.

Since 2021 Samsung sold 10-12 million foldables per year. Their sales target for 2023 was 15 million which was revised from 20 million. Total foldable sales in '23 was 15.9 mill. Samsung already said they missed their target. Their cut was 66.4% of the market. So Samsung lost 1-2 million sales in comparison to '22. Collectively, it was the Chinese manufacturers that increased their sales 100% year-over-year and brought growth to this market in '23.
Don't get triggered just because I mentioned Apple. You guys can do the Apple vs. Samsung thing. Not interested. It's irrelevant to the numbers and projections. Overall, Foldable sales are only 1% of the entire mobile market. By 2030 they are projected to reach 1/3 of total mobile sales. I have not seen any projections by the analyst that anticipate that happening w/o an ifold.

I just think they can't put a periscope lense while making the device even thinner and lighter. If I could decide I would ditch the ultra-wide and replace the 3x zoom with a 5x periscope zoom. That should work while make the device thinner and lighter.
I believe most of us Fold users would rather take that instead of the 3 lenses we have now.

More than 50% above the average iPhone selling price. Yet they're selling in the tens of millions every year and has done so for years. Samsung doesn't need Apple. Apple does however need Samsung.

Making it thinner is useless, if people care about thinness/ weight, there are so many options with regards to thin phones, or better buy normal phone.

Why dont they make all their best smartphones available globally? Decrease the prices? Advertise to make their brand more well known? Every company has flaws, just buy what's best for you, and don't judge others by the phone they buy :D
