FLAC files can easily be compressed under 1Mbps losslessly, so it's not difficult to imagine Qualcomm doing the same with its codec, especially since it's only using up to 16-bit/44.1kHz, which isn't difficult to compress at or under 1Mbps losslessly.

It does not make much sense to do a review, if you cant test aptx lossless. Thera are phones which have it. And there are more than few even (Asus and Sony flagships come to mind).

Bob, 28 May 2024go look it up, the snap aptx lossless uses some kind of buf... moreaptX Lossless is mathematically bit perfect, which is the definition of lossless. It also requires only 1Mbps, which is well within even older Bluetooth spec and similar to the 990kbps that codecs like LDAC and LHDC have been using.

Anonymous, 28 May 2024Care to explain why Sennheiser and Qualcomm are "lying... morego look it up, the snap aptx lossless uses some kind of buffering trickery, i can't remember the details from when i was researching whether i could get true lossless on wireless about a month ago. there is a scientific research site that explains it well. bt 5.4 just does not have the bandwidth. which is why i wondered if these used wifi direct which does.

The problem with Sennheiser isn't so much about sound quality, but their build. I have their Momentum TWS 3 and it developed the second issue [left one stopped charging no matter what I did, including cleaning the contacts] within a year. If you go to their subreddit, it's riddled with people facing similar issues.

I actually liked the fact that their buds went into the ear canal and I never had problem with accidentally tapping the touch sensitive buttons. The MTW 4 case have largely the same form factor which I dislike because it is still larger than what other companies offer.

I didn't know stop charging before 100% was a feature. That's why my mtw3 often stops charging randomly at any % but 100 until I force it to fully charge. Even though the audio quality is excellent, but my next buds will be from another brand just because of that annoying feature

Android updates and system design affect the sound quality, even though the best player vlc is used a big difference is noticeable with the same piece of music headphones and the vlc player on Linux where the sound is significantly better and the sound system decoders gets updated

WOW! I have always wondered, because I always get a pair of earbuds every time I buy a mobile phone, but simply have not ever used them, because, and I still cannot believe it, you actually push them INTO your ears??!!
I thought this might be the case, but even beginning to try is so unnaural, unnatural, and so unecessary (overear & conventional, so much better aurally, and SO much safer), but I guess that whoever uses these also cooks with Tefon in their pans and airfryers and cares nothing about the only thing they possess and are, their own body, Dear Me!!

                                      $300? Nope, thank you

I'm looking for earbuds that allows you to do volume up/down seek back and forward by a touch knob. Circle motion with fingers.
