This will be a china only phone. Like the previous Civi models.

CamoGeko-XDA, 28 May 2024Won't happen. Would step on the toes of Poco F6.It is a completely different price category. This phone is a lot more expensive. In China it was 50% more expensive than the Poco F6 (Redmi Turbo 3) at launch and is currently 65% more expensive. It wouldn't step on the toes of the Poco F6 series as it would be in a different, more expensive price bracket than the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro. Would be in the region of 600-700 euro if launched in Europe, probably around 650 Euro based on Xiaomi's normal pricing strategy.

The nearby rivalries are Vivo V series and Reno series but specs wise they're highly inferior in many areas as compared to Civi 14. This is a great alrounder phone and Xiaomi's new series debut in India, Price will be on par with the Vivo V series top of the line.

Its a good all rounder phone. Everything depends on the pricing though.
If they price it under 40K, it will be worth the money. Expecting 37K (256GB) and 40k (512GB).
If the pricing starts at over 40k and touches 50k, then it will not be worth the price for me.
Previous generation Flagships like Samsung s23, Oneplus 11 etc with SD 8 Gen 2 is available at 40-45k. Pixel 7 is 44K. Techno Camon 30 Premier just launched with an inferior soc (dimensity 8200) but with better cameras at 37K for 512GB + Free smartwatch.
Far too many options in 35k-45k price range.

Oh cool so this is sort of like the Poco F series if it was focused on cameras instead of gaming. Gotta say I'm really digging this specialized flagship killer phone trend Xiaomi has got going.
