Guess what the news is? M55's ghost is back.
Dumping Amazon and choosing flipkart didn't help the case.
The initial F55 reviews on Flipkart are posting a bad picture:- 3.5 stars out of 5, most verified owners posting 2 or 1 star reviews on Flipkart.
Reasons are same:- Bad Camera, buggy as hell, overheating badly, 20 minute PUBG session burning their hands, 5G going airplane mode for no reason (this one is new, wow).
People have to avoid all the 55's from Samsung, except maybe A55.

Heinz, 29 May 2024if you have extend budget to buy a good device, simply put ... moreYou seem to be a hardcore Samsung fan who can't tolerate the phone going down.
Let me try again:- I already have a flagship phone. Its not about me. Its about other customers who gave it 2.2/5 stars.
Anyone who buys a phone from a reputed brand deserves a reliable, stable phone, even if the segment is of midrange or low end, doesn't matter.

Sam N8 808 owner, 29 May 2024I think you're not aware of the entire M55 fiasco that... moreI don't need a phone, mine is still working just fine. Like I said Samsung updated my phone and both the camera and phone over all started working even better. Samsung could do the same for the M55

Stop complaining about how bad or limited spec from a midrange/budget device unless you're a geek. Most common folks doesnt share same opinion with a geek anyway.

Bebochekov, 28 May 2024Gee thanks for your opinion but everyone is not a phone gee... moreI think you're not aware of the entire M55 fiasco that happened in India. Fine, I'll revise.
They launched M55 on Amazon India, but bad reviews started coming from verified customers, including those saying the phone is overheating to the point where the cheek feels like its burning, camera is very buggy, it shuts down after a few seconds of video recording, the consistent performance is lackluster and even battery life is doubtable.
It got 2.4 stars out of 5, at one point of time it was just 2 stars. Even its AI generated review was bashing M55 like anything.
After that it got "out of stock" and never came back. All this happened in just 1 month.
Now, compare the specs of M55, F55 and C55 and each word is the same, including Samsung made Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. Means its a rebrand.
Can I expect a better phone? You tell me.
5 years promise is great, only as long as the phone's hardware is good.
Ok, ignore my Nord/Poco advice, but just get S23 FE or some other phone that won't burn out like this, can't you?

Sam N8 808 owner, 27 May 2024Anybody reading this, DON'T buy this phone. This phone... moreGee thanks for your opinion but everyone is not a phone geek like you. You sound more like you are advertising a Nord phone. For people who just want a phone with a big screen, don't care about gaming the F55 doesn't seem that bad. Will your Nord get 5 years of updates? Does it have One UI? Can you bring it to the Nord store and get the screen replaced the same day?
I'm still using a A71 and Samsung has made improvements to the operating system and camera so that it works better than when I bought it. Will. Nord do that?

Anybody reading this, DON'T buy this phone. This phone is a rebrand of hyper-problematic M55.
Many choices exist in lesser cash like Nord CE4, Poco X6 Pro, etc.

Why is Samsung only putting newer A series phones in UK but not like these phones?

Another front for unleashing lackluster samsung foundry products, just like A54/A35/M35 with Exynos 1380.

Anonymous, 27 May 2024SD 7 Gen 1 warehouses aren't emptied yet? They never will unless Samsung does these kinds of DoA devices. Nobody wants this chip, so it's either sold at a loss to entice OEMs and ODMs, like with the recent ZTE nubia Flip, or Samsung themselves use it on these market-specific devices to minimise damage to their brand loyalty, since anyone using a Samsung device with this chip would definitely have lots and lots of complaints about the thermals and the battery life.

A rebranded M55? No thank you... With all the issues plaguing the M55 (and also all the *55 series 2024 Samsung phones), I have temporarily lost confidence in Samsung. They need to properly iron out the kinks in their devices and stop riding the waves of brand goodwill before its too late.
