That android skin looks sexy on Lumia device.
Only if Nokia can realize that they have to keep android as their back up if WP fails.

Nokia has a superb hardware, camera and design. It is not too late to bring the Android to its flagship. The whole move of Nokia marrying exclusively with Microsoft was wrong. Nokia's 'CEO Stephen Elop' experiment failed. Elop's biggest gaffe has been his regrettable decision to tie Nokia's fortunes to the fate of Microsoft, which at the time had its own battles with execution. Clearly, Windows Mobile is not the future. Nokia should call Google today and inquire about converting a couple of its phone models to Android (http://tinyurl.com/kobnsfn).

Laggy VM-based Android is not good. Symbian & Meego are actually better, but Nokia was stingy in hardware spec.

When Android already used 1GHz ARMv7 in 2010, Nokia stupidly used outdated

Nokia's problem isn't about going android. They have to make their phones "cool" again. They have to make their flagship phone wanted by everyone. The nokia eos is a step in the right direction, and hopefully, the specs are top of the line 2013 specs.

Best "cool" example is Samsung. Their phones are made of plastic but it's cool to own them because of marketing muscle. Nokia doesn't have the budget for marketing so they have to rely on the quality and wow factor of the phone to impress. Kind of the HTC One which is selling well for a phone with has virtually 0 marketing.

About the cool factor, Microsoft can help by making windows phone "cool" to own..

Nokia will never adopt Android. Nokia is dying day by day. Whatever here in my locality still most people prefer Nokia phones.

Just like GSMARENA made a petition to make a smaller sized android flagship when cant they start a new one just to make Nokia realize what they have been doing wrong and how this will not end well..... All they need is pressure from Websites and Forums like GSMARENA and pressure from their loyal fans (Decreasing by the day) to rectify while they still have time... Frankly they don't have the resources to build the third ecosystem though they might have the expertise.. And the history says it all.... Android/IOS rose exponentially from the start... whereas Windows has been around from such a long time still has not been able to reach the popularity of Symbian let alone compete with the top 2... Hope this message reaches the right people...

really nokia does not need android, nokia needs something other than windows sailfish would be nice able to run android apps and they would not have to fight for maps or even newer symbian . The thing is window is joking they are king of desktops but have allot to learn in mobile. We are still waiting to see 41 mp cam from windows wen symbian did this years ago. im no a hater windows might have a good future, but will nokia still be ther to see a time. thats why this window or nothing else is killing nokia . As i said nokia dont need android ther are other options but even laggy buggy android would generate profit for nokia and thats what its all about not whos os is better u fanboys make me sick

AnonD-77318, 02 Jul 2013are you 10yr or what? the true Android fans are never want ... more40% of Android devices still on stuck on Gingerbread even after 8 years. Plagued with malwares such as obad and fakedefender. Reports of lag and crashes from all around the world. Google promises that these will be fixed in the next version and yet nothing. Special need of separate project just make the UI smooth. Nothing can be done without rooting. Infested with bloatware that hardly someone uses and no way to remove to them without root. People have to dependent on some random guys on the internet to cook roms for their devices, just so that they use their devices properly, which in turn are also either not stable or have missing features. Android is far from being the best only plus points of Android are it has more apps and games and its cheap. WP is already invading that territory, Asha line up with their new OS is showing a sign of really becoming a smart OS. Sailfish and firefox are also on their way, along with Tizen and Ubuntu. Apple is rumoured to release a low cost version, if that version runs the current version of iOS supporting all the apps of the iOS it will be a sure problem for Android. The only things Android will be left with are themes, launchers and live wallpapers.

                                      Dear PK,

What about android device? do you believe all devices are up to date; every device has expiry date and same is for Lumia 900; at least not like android .. wait for edges and get nothing in the end. 7.8 give you most of functionality.

Also, you need to see the history of android; how it started? no-one can get perfect in a single day.
