I hope Nokia + android + 41MP. It's awesome. I don't like Samsung plastic phones. Motorola even quit from India. So only hope from Nokia... Otherwise Sony which start making top racing phone but have very slow update....

WOW, just look at the request made by Android fans for a Nokia Android. Seems they are not content with any Android OEM in the market. I think this is the failure of Samsung, LG, Sony and others, specially Samsung, it covers like what 50-60% of Android market share and yet people want Nokia+Android?!?

Nokia lost the band wagon. Best thing to do is to adopt Ubuntu. Since privacy is a major concern which android lacks. This will boost any mobile phone company because of prism.

I've always been a Nokia fanboy, and back then I was glad they went with WP, cause who needed another android phone. Well, live and learn. I've tried WP7 for a few weeks and WP8 for a few weeks, but always back to android. And boy oh boy, do I miss having a Nokia in my hand. But the WP os is just not ready for prime time. 7 was a nasty joke on the buyers, 8 is still immature. But android is indispensable. My plan is simple. Nokia, do like Toyota and Lexus, etc., make a premium android line with the name Aikon. C'mon, Nok builds the best handsets. Please, give me a good android phone, and I'll be back to Nok.

Very well said.. here in India people trust on Nokia for durability and finishing. If there comes Nokia with android then anything else will just be a history...

I am Nokia Fan and now i owned a Lumia 720, the phone is nice in general but however, i want to see Nokia makes some Android smartphones. I am sure if Nokia makes android phone it does not take too long time to be on the top. I think Nokia should use both WP OS and Android OS in order to keep company run well. I hope to see Nokia with Android soon in 2013.

Yes, Nokia did a big blunder by not adopting Android OS. Rest of the all company is implementing Android and left Win OS far behind and succeeded in the market, but Nokia still hanging in Win OS, it is very poor in front of Andy in all aspects. I have sympathy over Nokia for it.

Agree that Nokia should join the Android market to stay in the race. I was a Nokia fan until Android OS came. People will stop buying Nokia WP and switch to Android device once they get to know more about the WP OS.

WebOS, Symbian(I still love it), Android, iOS, QNX, Firefox, Tizen, Meego, Sailfish, Ubuntu....any of these and more except WP OS, because Microsoft just ain't gettin the cut. If Nokia still wear the teflon face and not wanna change, then be it.

A more than 100yr old Nokia is being destroyed by its decision to cater to just one mobile OS that's not even their own. Nokia should be better than this, either take Sailfish or Android and keep a lil WP cause people just do not like WP anymore.

I don't think that Nokia will make Android phones because Nokia always was something special, different from other devices, like so many manufactures started making Android devices, i see that like something too easy and to common for this devices. I want to see a larger gamma or devices too buy like each manufacturer to have it's own OS, like iPhone, Nokia started using MW, Samsung and all other big names started Android. When you want to buy a smartphone you first ask yourself what should it be? An iPhone?Lumia? or an Android?

read this why nokia opted for WP....

"The obvious choice would have been to jump on the Android bandwagon. Attracted by Google's free software, every other major smartphone maker except Apple and RIM had already done so, and almost every large carrier was supporting Android as the only genuine Apple alternative. But Google was riding so high that it essentially refused to negotiate, offering no concessions to Nokia despite its global presence. Elop later told the Salo employees that Google "acted like they'd already won. Apple and Android deserve some real competition.""
