I can't imagine how these people can even have eye sight as we live in the era where it screens everywhere. Even bright natural light from sun should dry out their eyes in this case. I would imagine that the 1 hour a day of screen time is combined the 20 plus times people look their phone per day as average.

I bet these people you talk about also use either laptop or desktop computers and spend a lot of time behind these screens and there for get the dry eye but you cant point this on just phones that these need to have the pwm protection

Harmful efect starts to show. Btw, someone sensitive to pwm can use phone one hour a day, and still will have eyes strain.

The jack and sd card slot is now mostly only for entry to budget class phones.
And by budget i mean like at most like 300 euro that is actually already the start of the middle class by price that be around 250 euro for starting of the middle class.

Even on middle class phones they dont have both as the jack and SD card.
It's either have SD card and no jack or the other way around.
Or you go with Sony that have both but is too expensive for the hardware these have that match the range of top end of entry level phones.

What about the virtual proximity sensor in Vanilla F6 as i saw it in the detailed review disadvantages but nobody is mentioning it cause it might be a deal breaker for some people including myslef
Can anybody elaborate this disadvantage with real life experience?

Like what part of performance first for Poco you dont understand ???
They cut cost for everything other then performance.

You are the type that expect 1500 euro Samsung fold ultra mega super 3000 to be sold under Xiaomi name for 400 euro

Give me example for the phones that have your preferred features for 400-500 euro brand new and not older then 3-4 months from release date that have all the features and also have the best performance

Can you even give me one example that come close to the bang for the buck with Poco gives you

Made in China - Made 4 China.

Abysmal phones with cut down functions. Xiaomi follows the same trend of not including useful features in the budget phones. Poco is dead for me from now on

Most important, get F6 pro if u are sensitive to PWM. That is one of the main display characteristic, don't know why is not mentioned.

It's 100 euro more then year ago for F5

Actually i need to correct it as F5 starts at 440 euro in my country in EU.
that 520 euro was like week ago and f6 Pro from 550 euro.

                              For F6 Pro
""The more premium build with a glass back and aluminum frame.""

I hate that people are clueless what means build when it's all about materials like plastic versus aluminum for frame or plastic back versus glass back. I dont think that having a glass back is more premium. Just cause it's more fragile i dont see it more premium.

Performance difference in 1.48M vs 1.59M cant also be said that F6 with a bit higher number is a lot better performance. Based on Antutu score at least.

Mills, 31 May 2024Both have similar size but weight is drastic. 179 for F6, 2... moreYeah, in the global market the Poco F6 offers more value. The only concern I'd have would be the 8gb ram on the base model versus the 12gb on the Poco F6 pro. I only have 8gb ram on the Redmi k60 pro with snapdragon 8 gen 2 and it quite frequently stutters and occasionally freezes. Had no issues on miui but it happened after upgrading to Hyper OS. Wonder if Hyper OS is more demanding on the RAM or something. In China it's the opposite. The Redmi k70 (Poco F6 pro) makes way more sense than the Redmi Turbo 3 with only either a 200rmb (us$28) or 300rmb (US$42) price difference depending on the platform. The k70 has reduced the price to 1,999rmb now (US$282) for 12gb 256gb. Pricing varies by market though. In France, for example the Poco F6 is €450 ($486) for 8gb 256gb which is quite steep. They tend to quote the lowest prices in the launch but then charge a lot more than that in some countries. The Poco x6 pro is €330 for the same 8gb 256gb storage in France. No way the Poco F6 is worth an extra €120 over the x6 pro either.

It's not even a contest, the differences are almost entirely just on paper. In reality the "Pro" isn't really better in any regard, especially considering the pretty big difference in price. I would only recommend the F6, you just don't get enough for spending extra on the Pro.

Agree, I prefer the vanilla F6 with its lower price point!
