Moto just wanted to be remembered just like the good ol RAZr slim phones back in the days. Battery won't be compromised, Google will make sure of that.

Dennis Woodside said Motorola will launch other Android phones together with Moto X. I think Droid Ultra is one of those phones.

Peter, 02 Jul 2013IP-xx, Water- and dust proof?
The battery sounds weak.Moto have launched two versions of their top model phones the past years.
One with average battery in a superslim phone, and one with amazing battery in average sized phone.
Their marketing have been about the all-day-phone - focus on offering the best battery life.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2013I like thin phones. I wish they rather made other battery s... moreYou mean like Motorola Smart Actions introduced years ago?
Anyhow, HW has a higher impact than SW in this case. Just look at the RAZR i, with it's awesome talk time.

Can`t wait to see the new and improved chrome browser. a blank white page with whiter whites that you cant set a homepage and no logout so it constantly runs in the background. OHH YEA BEEN THERE DONE THAT ALREADY WITH THE RAZR .RAZR HD AND THE RAZR MAXX HD.

I like thin phones. I wish they rather made other battery saving improvements, without increasing thickness to put a bigger battery instead.

AnonD-83579, 02 Jul 2013People need to stop going on and on about thin phones. batt... moreI second that. However I do like thin phones, but I would rather have battery life versus being thin.

Even GsmArena said those are not the specs!
You people need to read. Those are the specs of the Razr M from last year. Motorola employees just copied and pasted its specs on the Droid Ultra page.

OEM's need to start focusing on what people want... not what they think they need to make ... all people with all phones complain about battery lives and yet... the battery life is being neglected with every new phone ... it's just crazy
Thin is neat... but its battery is also weak

People need to stop going on and on about thin phones. battery life is not worth sacrificing for slim design...makes the device not very attractive in usability department and possibly hotter during gaming. Plastic may be cheap but at least it is less likely to mess up signal.
