... moreReally interesting comment on your part, that prompted me to briefly research : Huawei went from 1st to 6th after the embargo/ban by the US for 'security' and 'espionage' concerns in 2019--- Huawei asked the US to 'prove' they had done something and there wasn't any.
I can recall these accusations, and in fact, it is all I remember about Huawei. But there was never any evidence. Hopefully this doesn't violate the politics rule [I'm not advocating or taking sides] but it definitely got ME thinking... especially about what you wrote. Cheers.

You know what happened when last time "a Chinese phone vendor" outsold Apple and iPhone in the US? That will also happened to Vivo if they also outsold Apple and iPhone in sales in the US.

Why does the base model have a flat display when the S series is supposed to have curved displays? The curved display gave this phone an identity, while now it's just like all other slabs on the market

Between, the Vivo s19 series, the Oppo Reno 12 series and the Honor 200 series, the Honor 200 series is easily the best this time around especially for cameras. These series are all big competitors in the offline market in China. The Oppo Reno 12 series and Vivo s19 series are pretty disappointing for the price. Honor is offering a lot more

The modem already has the support for worldwide band support. And sometimes the antennas are sufficient too, but the manufacturer don't want to spend more if sales are low in that region.
I am looking at ulefone, oukitel who seem to support every band under the 🌞.
They are not my first preference, but rather I vote with my wallet.
