i bought lumia 800 with WP7.5
and then 7.8 was a great upgrade for me...
and then came a lot of WP8 devices
its really worth upgrading to WP8 devices
still i want to taste WP8 in my next Lumia 1020-EOS
that will not satisfy me, but im sure its gonna overwhelm me :)

Seems there are more haters or some robots to bash windows phone 8. I like windows phone 8 and confident the wp8 phones will grow rapidly than IPhone and Android phones.

For instance, you can have a very nice (with high quality rendering) of Web pages. Then you can zoom in to the content that is interesting to you. Full HD can reveal more details from photos as well.

I used the Lumia 920 for a month and liked it alot. When coming to games, the better GPU the better performance one gets. That's the fact. I can agree with the argument that Windows Phone 8 OS is well optimized and it does not require raw cpu power to provide a smooth user interface. However, I run apps and games when I touch the phone. That's where more cpu power matters. It does not make a lot of sense for Nokia to sell products with slower SoC for the same price as the competitor.
In my opinion, it takes Nokia quite long to have new models released to the market. They've been using the same hardware for the 92x series for quiet long time. The problem might be due to software support from Microsoft and this is totally out of their hand. Depending on Microsoft might not be a very good choice, IMO.
It would be interesting to see Nokia building Android-based phones. It might help them increase their shipping number. Moreover, Microsoft will have to push their OS forward faster as Nokia's market share is the representative of Windows Phone OS.

There's no choice, but follow the others like Samsung and HTC. Needless or not, it's the images, that sells. Full 1080p specs sounds much more interesting at least in the paper than 720p.

Personally I like more useless pixels in high end phones. That makes actual practical high end phones with HD resolution cheaper. I'll wait until more people get fooled by FullHD on 5 inchers, and then I'll buy a 4.8" HD phone 200 dollars cheaper!

What is the use of emulater if nokia is going to bankcropcy sooner or eith in 11 months or a year later. I hope mirmcrosoft help tem so that bankcropcy is avoided.

I hope this help lumia 920 and it series cos I can't just watch nokia go down I gave out my nokia N8 for M̶̲̥̅ƹ to lay my hand on nokia lumia 920, but I just to wait a beat to see whether this new discovery would work with.

I thought the WP UI was scalable and wouldn't need specific resolutions to be "baked in" the system... guess I was wrong.

Don't care about 1080p under 6" unnecessary stress to gpu and battery, but fact, that it supports it is important, that mean better cpu/ gpu support for faster web browsing and gaming.

Those specs you want are not needed at all. This is just to compete with android fanboys. WP not need that. And Nokia can become greedy as Samsung and others.
However, changes are good (not always) and was a matter of time WP/Nokia grows and getting better and better performance hardware.
In good time, this is far to be ended. And for those trolls that said Nokia/WP are dead this is a clear example that they WANT to compete in their own playground.
