The S19 has a whopping 6,000mAh battery, despite measuring only 7.19mm thick and weighing 193g.

Glad they finally step up to 6000 mAh, like it supposed to be. I hope this 6000 mAh could be mainstream soon, especialy for BBK phones. People always say that optimization is more important than bigger battery, but why not both?

      Also, the previous design runs errands around this design, not that the current design is bad, but that design had some personality for an otherwise generic design.

          Man if only Apple invest their resources into developing similar battery tech and fast charging. Theyvwould be unbeatable. Current Apple's battery tech is such a joke.

          I know that they last a bit longer than competitors while having only ~4200mah battery but imagine if they able to put 5500mah battery inside Pro Max!

          Also, their battery health is degrading too quick. Sometimes it can degrade more than 10% within 1 year.

            S19 only exists to attract customers with lower price and push them to buy the S19 Pro. No reason whatsoever to buy the S19 considering it's price isn't far from the Pro

              You then go on a rant about no phone having 5000mah in 2014 so your arguing against me by agreeing with my statement..?? That's some incredible mental gymnastics

              And "we" is the free market, the buyers have chosen with their wallets that they want bigger smartphones the silent MAJORITY supports these dimensions

              Lastly you have an educational barrier with regards to battery size and weight the capacity is not to blame it is the elements of the atoms used in the battery chemistry

              I could easily fool someone like yourself with 3500 mah liFEpo4 battery in a smartphone and you would celebrate on how light you would expect it to be .. but that chemistry has iron in it one of the heaviest elements out there

              If you have a problem with OEM ignoring your preferences for small lighter phones don't take it out on me or buy the iPhone slim or buy a mini smartphone from umidigi, Cubot etc

              And you claim that I always have useless response the irony...

                    Very impressive, but the ultrawide needs to be 50MP, or at the very least 12MP. Also, the design aesthetic is horrendously ugly (though there's even worse ones). These are just minor gripes though, the rest of what the two phones offer seems very good.

                      Vivo is churning out increasingly interesting models. This design would probably be copied as the next V series outside China.

Certainly not me. Second, what 5000mAh phones are there that are actually light? There‘s like one in the Xperia 10 V that’s at least decent, the rest is unwieldy >74mm 175-240g slabs. I‘d say it‘s the opposite, we have had half a decade (yeah not a decade because there were no 5000mAh phones in 2014, because back then phones were actually light at around 140g and all less than 74mm width. Guess you were not old enough back then to use a phone to remember a time of phones that were actually ergonomic) of heavy, big phones and it‘s time to cool down a bit, both in terms of size and weight.

                            They put flat screen with 2.5D which looks much more premium nowadays than curved screen, vanilla model really looks nice in this series...

                                      Much worse camera hardware compared to the Honor 200 series on both phones for the same price. You can also get the Iqoo neo 9s pro with the Dimensity 9300+ for almost the same price as the regular s19 (2,699rmb for 12gb 256gb). It also has a better rear camera setup with the same main camera and a 50mp ultrawide. The s19 with snapdragon 7 gen 3 versus the Iqoo neo 9s pro with Dimensity 9300+ for almost the same price. Know which one I'd choose
