The only problem with Omnivision is they can't capture moving subject as fast as Sony's can. But still better than Samsung which is the worst out of the sensors currently. Even worse so at night. Too bad Samsung wont fixed this anytime soon 🤷🏻♂️.

The starting price is already likely to increase even without doing that and the regular Xiaomi 14 is a massive seller in China. They won't want to increase the price too much as it will risk losing customers especially since Oppo and Vivo will offer flatscreen competition with slightly smaller screens (compared to this year) in the next generation of their x series phones so unlike this year, there will be more competition and the Xiaomi 14 was already more expensive than the Find x8 or Vivo x100. Also they need to keep a gap in price between the regular model and the pro model.

Anonymous, 31 May 2024They can easily use 858 as front cam. I very much agree, I've even said this myself before. It's just that people don't like larger puncholes in their display, and IMX858 costs more, so the Samsung ISOCELL JN1 is the best that can be used without lots of complaints from people.
