The camera is pretty terrible. I like their color processing but the rest is really terrible. I wish they went with normal, decent 8+mpx modules - their improvements on processing would do them justice (although some oversharpening is still too obvious).

Having tried a Galaxy Note and now the HTC one I prefer the HTC interface (personal choice).

Also the Video display issues on the Note were poor (look up black crush on the Galaxy note)

However for HTC to release a small cheap handset with an older OS is a massive backward step.

Google are trying to get the distribution of Android down to as few versions as possible and for HTC to release something 2-3 versions out of date is wrong choice.

Especially with the situation they are in and the failure of the FaceBook phone

BinGo, 04 Jul 2013Missed opportunity...how hard was it to include a memory ca... moreLets not do fanboy talk man... Either talk about it like a pro (if you are on) or dont at all... So you judge HTC and don't judge samsung? Well... For one I dont see how 2 buttons = Samsung being on top... For one, HTC has better quality building material, which is almost non existent in all Samsing's phones... All of them are made from plastic (some even have this cheapr feeling etc...). HTC most of the time provides a premuim like phone even if it isnt one... So in terms of design HTC will ALWAYS win... Going to the specs, Samsung is upping their game, so it's a fight between HTC and Samsung when it comes to specs, no real winner, there shouldnt be anyways, because the technology keeps upgrading.

In terms of products, HTC always wins as well... Samsung makes way too many Samsung phones, in about 10-20 phones only 1 or 2 actually make the spotlight, while HTC almost all phones have been heard of...

Overall, I don't see how Samsung beats HTC... Better quality (meaning they actually care about how you feel when you hold the phone which doesnt exist on Samsung's part), and better product timing and quantity... Overall it's more of an HTC win than a Samsung one >.>

Only thing Samsung REALLY beats HTC in, is the price, it's cheaper... But that's logical with the cheap design etc... When someone has the money they always go for HTC, you get better quality almost every time. I have tried many phones from both HTC and Samsung (Sony as well) and I am talking about this from both experience and knowledge... So yea... Samsung ain't number 1.

And next time, dont comment here just to say Samsung is number one, this isnt a fight about who's better, this is a leak... So please, next time... Do something productive, thank you.

On the topic: I'd rather have HTC One Mini at an affordable price than HTC Desire 200... The Desire serious was awesome, but it will be hard to get back the old shine it had a couple years ago with developing technology... So imo, if HTC wants to bring back the Desire series, they should make a flag ship named Desre (something)... Or they will just make the Desire series a mid range smart phone series... No High ends... Which actually isnt a bad plan imo... Better move on and make better ones with new names for the new series of phones... It's better that way and keeps customers more interested.

Missed opportunity...how hard was it to include a memory card, and have 3 buttons instead of the silly two...
HTC should listen to its customer, that is why Samsung is number 1.

HTC downgraded the MP and embedded something called UltraPixel which just increases the pixel, but no improvement in pictures quality. Pureview is an innovative tech, unlike UltraPixel gimmick. And lastly, you can't say gtfo since it's not your place. FC

Hope it will really be "mini". If it's gonna be another giant phone but with lower specs HTC shouldn't bother. Yes the screen is 4.3" but phone still doesn't quite seem to be "mini".

Hmm, Nokia should be going to collapse in the near future for what they did with Microsoft. Lumia series would be failed to keep Nokia from bankrupcy.

Nokia, you have no choice at all. Adopt android as soon as possible or quit the smartphone race. Lol. Hahaha....
