I am not evening going into the internal depts of storage format and RAM configurations, etc. as they don't affect the average joe.

Read my reply just above this for some specific points if you are willing to keep an open mind. No problem either ways. No offence meant.

They look more modern as compared to Funtouch OS. It's kind of stuck in between old and modern design paradigm. I don't know if I can explain it in words but it doesn't do justice to the display while using the UI.

    While small things that I was talking about are like:
    1. While I am using an app and a call comes, when I pick it up, the in call UI is a small window in the top and doesn't covers the whole screen. Im Funtouch os while the call picker is small window in the top, the in call UI is normal full size window. It's half baked. If I am using an app and I pick up a call, it should remain a small window. It just feels right in Samsung.
    2. Folders in App drawer. Makes it so easy to decluter useless apps or most used apps into different categories.
    3. Search texts inside images in gallery. Plus long press to select text in native gallery since Android 12 or 13 in Samsung. None of this in Funtouch OS.

    These may not sound much but in my day to day usage these meant night and day difference.

      @GSMarena: We're done with M35, how about covering the M55/F55 disaster now?

      I mean seriously, are we complaining of slow charging of M35, when M55 is literally burning people's cheeks, and review ratings, and crashing video records and its buggy too?

        Samsung not welcomed anymore unless they give at least 125W charging and chargerincluded in every phone regardless is a flagship mid ranger or a low cost one.
        Even a low cost one should have at least 67W charging speeds.

Here, take my like 👍 I agree that samsung's charging speed is a joke. If you're not gonna include a charger, at least increase the charging speed to make up for it!

Samsung's software is more stable, feature packed compared to colorOS/RealmeUI/miui/hyperOS. My current phone running android 14 doesn't have Live caption. A basic feature present on midrange samsung smartphone running android 13 from 2021.

                    You also get animations with gesture navigation on 3rd party launchers in oneui which are either broken or not supported in others(colorOS/hyperOS).
                    I was struggling with system launcher crashes for two months because of a broken software update. It made using 3rd party launchers impossible.

                    Apps are also not aggressively killed here. Plus, the super long update cycle even on budget devices is good.

                    But, credit where credit is due. Chinese OEMs bought true fast charging 68-120w which is cool. Samsung's 25w-45w fast charging is a joke in comparison.

                      Among the Chinese UIs, Color OS is actually very very good. In fact, it comes close to One UI for me. I can also live with only 2 OS updates. No issue. In fact, I am indeed considering Oppo (besides Motorola) for my next phone. My only issue with both is that they're going insane with the curved displays. Ugh...

                      Xiaomi UI still sucks though. It is just horrendous.

Didn't used a samsung devic... moreI've tried most Chinese UI, and apart from Xiaomi and Infinix which is kinda buggy in my experience, I don't see why those Chinese UIs are inferior. My experience with FuntouchOS, MyOS from ZTE, and ColorOS are just smooth and I got no distubing bugs whatsoever. In those Chinese UIs, you got many features that you won't find on One UI (and vice versa, but it's just a prove that One UI is not the only UI that has "special" features).
                          The only thing that Samsung is better is just a longer and faster software updates (doesn't apply to A0x series), and that's it. Which is good... I guess? I mean not receiving the latest Android version is not really the end of the world, right? Most Play Store apps are even still compatible with Android 7 from 7 years ago. And also, it's not like everyone will immediately update their phone at the Day 1 or Week 1 when the update got launched.

                              Is it about fluidity of app transitioning, preferences for apps staying open in ram, update schedule/speed,. android skin features , battery efficiency optimisation choices, android skin format preferences / how the android skin navigates, A.I, no android skin at aIl, camera software processing, ecosystem integration, app crashes/stability, ram defrag to resist ageing, app draw Vs no app draw?

                              Nobody ever knows 😐 just some subjective gray area talk

                                This is inexcusable. It is one of the reasons I'm moving on to another brand despite loving One UI.

                                  I agree. You can say what you want about Samsung having issues with performance to price and all, but One UI is so good. It is has so many useful features that make it a boon for senior citizens and people with other issues (myself included). I may be moving on from Samsung (I have my reasons) but I will miss One UI.
