The real issue is people for years have been getting lazy and too caught up in a popularity contest and and worried about how good they feel, and can't deal with a few days of turmoil or hardship. I lied anyone else would love to feel good on a daily but my life has always been in turmoil and competition and losing but it doesn't stop me from finding joy or happiness here and there.

Example:
From feature phones to modern smartphones = how MANY People use the Calendar, Tasks and similar to organize the time in their days?! I'd wager 15% or less of all smartphone users do.

Conversely = how MANY people use their smartphones for social media apps daily and how much time is soent using that?!

How many people non bilingual or multi lingual have actually spent hours out of a day to learn a second langauge?!! I spend 1hr a day doing so and I organize my day between work, meals, working out, studying advance courses and leisurely here or elsewhere mostly with my very small yet tight circle of friends.

Therein lies the difference between laziness and fear of AI s doing something to move forward with self improvement.

    Sorry but AI in this as well as stronger markets and proper timing has led to better sales that are heavily trending higher than the S20 series ever could.

    You're too emotionally attached to negativity about AI which by option can be fully disabled, only a low end processing if the standard camera cannot be turned off. Not like every other phone in the entire industry doesn't with theie DSP which sorry kiddo IS using a form of AI very algorithmic processing. Thats all AI currently is - algorithmic processing learning from code to direct it to infer. That's all it currently is. This isn't Brainiac from Superman comics, nor Cyberdyne Systems. So get a grip and come to reality.

      No, mate. People aren't using it. In fact, more and more people are rightfully weary of this "AI" and the massive privacy threat it objectively represents.
      No one is buying the S24 - which remains a FLOP - for the "AI".

        - Circle to search: often during the day, simply the best feature.
        - Samsung Internet AI features: on a daily basis: translation from Spanish plus Summary.
        - Live Interpreter: used multiple times when going to doctor. It is unbelievable how good the acceptance by other people is.
        - Samsung keyboard AI features: recently I tried it and since then everyday.
        - Photo editor features: everyday.

A friend of mine has the s24ultra and loves taking photos of nature. Now you cant always be sure of perfect conditions when taking a photo of animals etc.. So he recently took a beautiful picture of a Swan. Stunning lighting conditions etc...

                However there was a ugly looking branch hanging down in the corner of the frame. Quick edit and now there's only perfect looking water (And the swan) on show in the photo.

                    It is NO different that using the Internet, or BBS the precursor of Internet and evolved into:
                    Forums - like what you, we and I are commenting on. FYI BBS stands for Bulletin Board System!
                    Reddit
                    Chat based mobile and internet apps.
                    GitHub - the sharing of code, respository of code for people to download, assemble and use along with sharing.
                    Online File Storage (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc)

                    ^ These are ALL components of the internet.

                    AI is just simply a MUCH MORE efficient use of these tools.

                    If ANY of you have read SuperMan comics or seen SuperMan 1981 or Man Of Steel and saw the "Kelix" levitating AI Robot .. its an evolved general intelligence robot or computing device that SERVES humanity, not to destroy it or hold us back.

                    Doctors use scapels, lasers, stems, etc.
                    Dentists use picks and many other tools,
                    Hospitals use X-Rays, Ultrasound, etc
                    ^ ALL are TOOLS available to help humanity.

                    Imagine where humanity would be without them!
                    I'm sure we all use a circle daily (wheel, classic or digital watch, door knob, etc)
                    these are manual ... AI is still manual use and interaction. When its pure voice and interactive it'll seriously improve our lives.
                    Those that cannot see this are going to be left into the dust!

                      I use circle to search pretty frequently now. But it's pretty much just Google Lens, which we've had for ages. Makes the S-Pen fairly redundant for me tbh

                              Once you start using the photo editor its gets very interesting, what possibilities there are when removing objects like the never were there. And as someone who travels a lot I use the translator all the time. For languages I cant understand a single word, I can now easily attend meetings and understand every single word that is beig said.

                              Once Apple introduces the same features it will be the next best thing. That's just the reality.

Its catchy..it helps sales...so many companies wouldnt opt in to do it too if that wasn't the case. They have whole marketing teams ect specifically dedicated to see what the consumer would want as well as what would sell better.
                                  AI, at this point and time, sells, period. You and many other people (including me) not liking/needing/caring about its features is another story

                                      I would wager Galaxy "AI" hasn't sold a single phone for Samsung.
                                      But hey, when your phones became the same featureless garbage as everyone else 'cause your CEO's only vision is to copy Apple, I guess you need to pretend gimmicks are actual sales-drivers...

                                      Well, I clarify that by "a single person" I mean a normal consumer.' cause I'm sure the folks at Sammobile will put out a bunch of completely delusional articles about how these folding gimmicks with these useless "AI" features are the second coming of Christ that will "absolutely destroy Apple" ahahahahahah
