I admire LG for releasing new attractive/fashionable model.. I love LG mobile phone for their phone camera & video camera.. I can say that the "clarity" is amazing... I owned, KG800 (chocolate), KE970 (Shine), KF750 (Secret), and KU990 (Viewty).. They are all amazing!!

Anonymous, 19 Oct 2008i dont think it's made for Australia they probs eitha have... moreOn the contrary, this suits Australia down to the ground as the new Optus national 3G network is made up of 2100 & 900 UMTS... exactly what this phone is capable of.

Bridence, 20 Oct 2008Urrrghh.. telstra is too expensive anyway!! Next G is only ... moredude. get with the times. Vodafone has had 3G for the past 3y years

Telstra offers 99% nextG coverage of Australia's population, higher down and uplink speeds(for the HSDPA & HSUPA devices, and they don't have people cutting their main comm cables 3 times in a month.

Telstra, like any other product/service out there- is one of the ones that makes you pay more, but for your money you get better services.

and if you had troubles with Telstra's customer service at some point- i got news for you- no major company has good customer service. I personally hate the long hold times telstra gives us internal dealers, and every dealing i have had with optus has ended up with me having to pay money for their screw-ups.

Vodafone is just as bad. i am with them now, and they treat me with arrogance.

One guy can have his own opinion. I agree that yeah, LG has been doing some great stuff, but this is gonna be a bomb in my opinion. As for 1 million people buying the original Prada, I've only ever seen one person that has ever owned it. So I'd assume they are over exagerating sales figures as well...

And I disagree with whoever dissed the Next G network. Where else in the world will you find a mobile network like Telstra's Next G? Nowhere. Look it up in the Guiness world records. It's actually the largest of it's kind, and the fastes. Not just for people out in woop woop with crap coverage.

                  Midget. Out.

Urrrghh.. telstra is too expensive anyway!! Next G is only good if your out bush as far as im concerned... Optus 3g still has strongest coverage and when vodafone gets 3g in Early 09 it will be just as good or even better.
Nice phone, lets just hope the label doesnt rubb off this time...
                    Cheers.

Haters, shoo. Honestly, please stop destroying the high hopes people have for the new Prada. I have to admit I'm a fan of LG's recent works such as the Secret, although there were flaws such as user-friendliness, lack of wifi, lag and damn it, 3.5mm jacks. (Hint hint!)
Putting that aside, I'm looking forward to the new Prada as LG has recently taken a huge leap into technology performance-wise.
I hope LG will be able to prove it's haters wrong and (finally) make a phone which looks good and works good.

midgetwearingabikini, 18 Oct 2008Okay look. The original Prada was just plain crap. The fact... moreLG have just announced that the origial Prada phone has sold 1 million units. I fail to see how that is "not popular". Clearly - ONE MILLION PEOPLE, rather than "no-one" wanted them.

Okay look. The original Prada was just plain crap. The fact they added a 5 megapixel camera and a QWERTY keyboard just insults our intelligence. They weren't popular. No-one wanted them.

C'mon LG! If you are going to release a new phone, at least bring out one that is as good as we have come to expect from you guys!

Okay, everyone makes mistakes, and the Prada was a huge one, so you're excused. Crappy camera, crappy touchscreen, if you sneezed loud enough it'll fall into pieces. Again, your mistake is forgiven.

If you were to release a NEW DESIGN phone with the 5 megapixel camera, and the QWERTY keyboard, it would be more appealing.

I'm sorry that this comment is a bit flame-ish, I just didn't think that the LG Prada should be allowed to be remade.

                                  Midget. Out.

I'm a huge Nokia fan. I have previously owned N70, N71, N73, N91, N93i, and now a N95 8GB. One of the main reason I bought nokias is because of the video capabilities they possess. but good for LG for stepping up and offering better than nokia video capabilities. I hope Nokia steps up with 1080p video
