I haven't seen anyone with a samsung, motorola, or others' flagship in ages. Some people with pixels which were company sponsored.

The average person is willing to spend anywhere between $500 to $1500 for an Android mid ranger or flagship. Even iPhones are available in this price bracket (depends on generation). And no, 'employers' don't pay for phones, it's not the 90s anymore. There is a significant cellular market with plenty of disposable income available.

People rarely spend that kind of money on other android phones. The ones who do, don't spend their own money but its rather paid for by their employer.
          In general iphones are in ascension in India and motorola should focus on the below 500$ market where apple doesn't compete.

I prefer plastic and I assure you that it is not cheap or of poor quality!! to the typical glass sandwich front and back.... also bravo for motorola that brought a classic back, the wood style

                  Good phone, it will be 650-700 euros tops in India.
                  Will stick to my Edge 40 Pro nevertheless.
