Just a guess but the dial could be for the camera zoom. That or changing frequences to pick up the communications of alien spacecraft. Who knows? Most likely some kind of useless marketing gimmick designed to make more money.

A sub 6" phone... moreNobody even know how big the market is for compact size phones and what masses want.
They only have big and bigger for options.
But then again Samsung Standard S class sells a lot and so does standard iPhones with there modern day compact size with 6.1 inch screen and the phones be under 150mm tall while the majority is all over 160mm tall

People like this are the ones who eat up the marketing of "there's no room for a jack so we removed it" yeah right totally NOT to sell their cheap Bluetooth earbuds. Pretty sure the folks at Samsung laughed their a##es off after removing the 3.5mm jacks, SD slots, heart sensors or killing the Galaxy note and these mfs still bought that cr@p

I wanted a compacy phone from nothing
A sub 6" phone with mid range specs will be perfect, amazing, beautiful.
But I get it, this phone is to please the masses
