If I barge in your face and demand you tell me what you're into, is that freedom of expression?

I subscribed and they did it TWO days after :'(

guess there will be a flurry of moji?

in the past, "Your likes are public" was variously used to expose bad people

meanwhile Elon privated list of likes from public

and then, bad people are very happy now

It is still woke and a bigger shitshow than ever before. Musky is not the solution , he is just a bigger problem. Too much money, f-all common sense.

Now it slowly becoming what Twitter was under Jack's tenure. The whole idea of Elon taking over Twitter was to remove biased algorithms, shadow bans, and promote freedom of speech & expression where one can say anything & not get banned for it.
I was only seeing hate & woke news/posts on Twitter & many accounts that I followed were not shown on my timeline despite their tweets posted. After Elon's takeover, it changed everything, shadow bans were removed and I could see the news from all sources unlike before which was only from one perspective. & community notes is a great feature.

But how does hiding likes constitute to freedom of expression if one can't see what other person liked?

Platforms should be more pro-open dialogue to bring people together, instead of dividing opinions and creating short sighted echo chambers.

Cool. Now you can like bully/naaazzzzi posts without others knowing. (lol)

Um, that's a weird move. I understand why people get attacked for disliking something, but I don't see why liking something is a problem?

IMHO, we should be able to see likes and dislikes equally. If people get blocked for their like or dislike by a certain individual, so be it. As far as hate speech is concerned, that shouldn't be allowed anyway, so what's the real problem with liking something and showing that you liked it?

If y’all think Elon Musk is saving Twitter, then I have a bridge I can sell…
