Anonymous, 15 Jun 2024The reason why the Redmi K70 Pro is placed higher than that... moreSo basically its just a stepdown from being a true flagship killer at the cost of an affordable price. I guess that's understandable since SD chipsets are usually more expensive than Mediatek. But isn't Mediatek's Dimensity 9300+ currently the most powerful chipset on a phone right now? Heck, even the Dimensity 9300 beats SD 8G3 and Apple's A17 Pro on many technical and gaming scenarios based on Geekerwan's review. Sure, it feels awful using a Mediatek chip when playing emulation, but the price difference is pretty wide (CNY 3299 or $452 vs CNY 2500 or $348). At this point, I'd rather get the Ultra as the telephoto on the Pro isn't really a good telephoto lens. In short, squeeze out a hundred dollars and get the Pro if you play emulation, but if you play heavy games that is available at the Paystore, then get the Ultra (Warzone is an exception since Dimensity is still shit compared to SD when playing Warzone). If you ask me, $100 is a lot

The reason why the Redmi K70 Pro is placed higher than that of the upcoming Redmi K70 Ultra is that the Redmi K Ultra series is merely a mistranslation. The actual translated name is called Redmi K Extreme Edition that simply means extreme performance to cost ratio, meaning it is made to deliver flagship level performance at an aggressive price. So the tiering system of the Redmi K series is Redmi KE (I doubt we ever get another one like the K70E) > Redmi K base model > Redmi K Extreme Edition > Redmi K Pro. But usually, when the Redmi K Extreme Edition phone gets to become available globally, it will be rebranded as the Xiaomi T Pro series with upgraded cameras, which is placed higher than the Redmi series (Redmi > POCO > Black Shark > Xiaomi). I'm personally excited for the Xiaomi 14T Pro as the chipset inside of the phone (Dimensity 9300+) is arguably faster than that of the current latest Snapdragon chipset (8 Gen 3) that was used on many flagship level phones. I hope the Xiaomi 14T Pro keeps the 5500 mAh battery and has an LTPO AMOLED display

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2024The Ultra is worse than the Pro? Wow, Xiaomeme. The leaks are nonsense, what is the point of releasing this phone if the leaked spec is true? What can be its price? Same as Poco F6 Pro/K70? Why call it Ultra?

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2024The Ultra is worse than the Pro? Wow, Xiaomeme.Redmi Ultra for one market. Xiaomi Pro for a different market. The Xiaomi T series is higher than Redmi series.

So, what are some of you guys saying about Sony's "non-sense" and "confusing" naming scheme again?

Remember to think about school/competition rankings when dealing with Xperias.

            1st place = Gold = Xperia 1
            2nd place = silver = Xperia 5
            3rd place = bronze = Xperia 10

The Mark labels are self explanatory.

                Honest Pro > ultra
The display is 2k on the pro and 1.5k on the ultra, which I don't like the most, and if the pro had water resistance, it would be perfect...

Schreww, 12 Jun 2024Still better than k70 pro. Camera is just awfulHow is the camera better than the k70 pro? It's got the same main camera and a worse ultrawide and no telephoto

'This sounds quite odd, as it would mean the Ultra is actually a downgrade compared to the Pro, so do take all of this with a healthy serving of salt'. The k series 'ultra' model is actealways cheaper than the pro. It's positioned between the k70 and the k70 pro in terms of pricing so it's expected to have slightly lower specifications
