As a pro photographer who wants a phone that takes good photos this will be for me, regardless of its form factor. What has form factor got to do with it? People buy 5.7 inch google phablets which I think are silly but they obviously have a use for. If you want a super thin super small phone buy an iPhone. If you think somehow having a quad core processor is "2013" tech and have to watch full HD movies on the train then buy an S4! Me, I'm happy with my super responsive, never lock up Lumia 820 which takes amazing photos even under flash!

X, 08 Jul 2013If a 360p screen (nHD) is great for you, it's your choice, ... moreBoy, if there wasn't Symbian, your crapdroid would not even exist. If you never used Symbian, don't talk about it. In fact, stop talking nonsense if you have no knowlege about stuff. Symbian has more functions out of the box then any system out there, and your crappdroid is way behind it when comes to them. Real functions of a real smartphone. A real mobile system that can make almost everything a desktop can do, and even more. Is not symbian fault cause apps developers are ”make a quick buck from sheeps” type of, and never learned a proper c++ programing, releasing useless buggy apps. No worrys, they are not excelent in crapdroid either. The only real problem of symbian touch was the interface. Which was well fixed in belle, belle fp1, belle fp2. I would like to see your crackdroid handeling a 41 megapixel sensor, fm transmiter, NFS, HDMI, with a 1300 mhz cpu and 1400mAh battery. Go teach your self some tech before trolling in sheep words everywhere, prooving again and again how much nothing you know. Mst of you trolls have no idea what a good system means. For your brain, a good system means more ram, octacore cpu's and big screens! For me, a good system means an optimized one to the full. To handle 1000 milion ideas with 300mhz cpu. That means a good system. Now take a hike.

Nokia 808 takes much better pictures than any Samsung phones. 1080p full HD displays are useless, drains battery and the naked eye can't see those pixels. Nokia 808 is a smartphone, it has all the basic features that Android lacks and most importantly, it is a camera phone that takes way better pictures than any phones till date and it's quite compact to use as a camera.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2013”808 screen is only 360p lol”? I have a 808 and its a damn ... moreIf a 360p screen (nHD) is great for you, it's your choice, but for me that's laughable. I don't have a "camera phone" as I don't consider one necessary. I have a great compact camera with exchangeable lenses(it has the max ISO of 25600) and a great phone (SGS 3) that takes pictures of very good quality even in low light(GSM arena should update their camera test after the last software update). An 808 would be just a brick in my pocket, with that screen and OS you can't call it a "smartphone". For the casual pictures the SGS 3 is great, while for the special events pictures, the compact camera is much better than a 808 can be, in any situation.

They know that less hardware fragmentation will be easier to optimize for stability and speed. Look at gaming consoles like Xbox 360. They prevent fragmentation by using the same specs to make it easy for the developers to code, keep cost down, and can optimize to its fullest. Android wasn't created by Google, they bought Android.

As you told, it will be hard for Nokia to ship more devices. But I just realize How Google(android) and all Android phone manufacturers are extracting money from you and make you to be addicted to Specs. For example instead of having more GBs of RAM, Google could have optimize the usage of RAM. I guess Purposely google did not do that to spead-up the spec race.

Even my Lumia 710 is ages ahead of my Galaxy S3 when it comes to NFS performance, lag and stutter.

even 720p screens suck battery life but are more pleasant to stare at then 480p screens

great pictures and video combined with great sound is more than welcome!
in fact i would not mind if Nokia would even the backside of this 1020 out with the camera hump so they can put in a bigger battery!!!

This really flies on quad core

But this is academic, like so many professional apps, it is not available on Windows Phone

Windows phone is ok if you are just looking at tiles and menus, apps still takes AGES to load and games have only half the fps due their 2010 CPU and GPU

                                  Sorry but thats the facts.
