What is a x2 telephoto lens for when the integrated main sensor is of good quality and can do x2 with little loss like most smartphones? A 2.5 or x3 zoom should be the norm

    It's not really a flagship killer if it's 85% of a flagship and 85% of the flagship price, good specs for sure but its the value to look out for - there are flagship challengers that sell for around $600 and that should be the competition for the GT6, because its not a flagship, and it shouldn't think of itself like it is

      If it's sold above $600, they better have a good reason cause there are other options available for those specs.

I'm ... moreApart from the SOC though the poco F6 will be worse in basically every other area so can't expect them to be the same price. The main camer alone on the GT6 would be about 3 times the price and the screen is more expensive also. All boils down to how they price it but you can't expect it to match the Poco F6 when the overall hardware is a lot more expensive. There's no way though it'll be anywhere near 1,000 euro. Even the Honor 100 pro is nowhere near that with an excellent flagship level camera setup, top class screen and fast wired and wireless charging.

They don't bother with newer battery tech and battery charging management, especially apple. They're also pushing even harder for incrementalism.

                  I'm expecting the GT6 to cost around $500 at the worst. Why even write it as under $1100? Might as well write it as under $600. Feels like Realme is testing the waters to see the buyer opinion and setting the price to that level.

The screens in Apple and Samsung flagships are arguably better than most of the Chinese flagships. Both still use top Samsung screens. Speakers, materials etc. are all at least on par with any of the Chinese flagships. It's mainly just the rear camera hardware where they are a bit worse.

                        We can also look at the number of premium devices solds worldwide. They're pretty much just iPhones and Samsung.
