What crap. 3GB for phone! Do you really need it? First improve Android and remove its huge bloat so that it requires less processing power, takes less memory for itself. And then remove the boatload of s*** called touchwiz. Samsung ought to be publicly criticized of their 3rd rate software. After that you will only need 1 GB RAM and Dual Core processor will be more than sufficient. This is just too much madness, No one needs this crap in their pocket for predominantly making calls, sending SMS, checking Email and being social.

Wonder how the 3GB RAM can help in reducing lags which is present there in Touchwiz. Instead of making junk phones, Samsung should create a stable launcher. Too much over hyped garbage. No bugger please!

Its going to be battle between
                    LG G2 vs.Samsung Note3.

5.2" TRUE HD IPS vs. 5.7" Super Amoled.

I will go for LG true to life color.

                      5.7" would be perfect!

Good incremental increase to the useable screen real-estate while probably allowing the width & height to remain the same as the Note2 ... and yet still be thinner :-). Beyond 6" its blurring boundaries into small tablet territory.

Also 5.7" and thinner at least keeps this somewhat pocketable. If you want a device with a noticeably larger screen then get a 7" tablet.

                      I say its a winner!!

Absolutely good they're going 5.7'' screen only. Xperia Zultra with its 6.44'' screen is very nice, everyone who sees it admires it, but when it come to choose which one to buy, people want sth quite able to handle, and 5.7'' is about the maximum size. Smart move.

Galaxy Note series always steps one of it's feet forward, and I like how Samsung is dealing with this kind of strategy. The first note was the first 720p phone last 2011 to go mainstream. the exact same season a year after the high-end smartphone segment was full of 720p gadgets. The second note though did not utilize a 1080p screen (because there's is no new screen resolution available so they saved the 1080p resolution for the note 3) but they did the exact same thing on another department which is RAM and microsd card capacity, it has 2gb of RAM and a capacity to accomodate 64gb of external memory. Just look at the difference of the technology a year ago and compare the specs of the flagships this year to the note2. the note2 only has an outdated screen and processor but the rest of the specs is still on par with today's standards . Some of the flagships last year can only handle upto 32gb. Now the note2 has 2gb of RAM which isn't outdated by any means today.

I am just concerned about this Memory capacity thing. 2GB of RAM + 16/32GB internal + 64GB external is well balanced but when you put an extra gig of RAM but the gadget can only handle 64GB of external memory doesn't sound good. The external capacity should atleast handle 128GB or 256GB of external memory.

did you know what the selling point of note series ? it's their s-pen, note functionality, big screen, big battery that can afford it's monstrous specs

xz ultra is just oversized xperia z, nothing more
