Looking interesting. I don't really mind the bezels, all I need is a WearOS smart watch at the lowest it can get.

As for your question - the Watch5 is ALSO the same SoC - there's more to these devices than just that, the sensor models could be different, just like how the bluetooth modules are. It'll be a matter of "how willing they are to build up customer goodwill" rather than "can they".
