No update for unlocked US version owners ... It's outta my understanding that why the unlocked users have to wait alongwith the carrier customers ...

Got another update in Singapore last night. After getting the 4.2.2 few weeks back, last night's update was a small personalisation update. Don't know what it was for though.....

Still no signs of update to 4.2 for my HTC One 32GB Unlocked US version using in India. Damn I hate HTC on the updates part, this is so annoying. Why would a unlocked device has to wait for the update when there is no carrier customization involved. This is really terrible on HTC's part. Even posting them on Twitter doesn't helps, they are least bothered for this. Almost every geography in the world has got the update except for the ones bought from US Store. :(

After installing the update, I am unable to access the menu options by long pressing the home key as stated in this article. Its auto launches google search. Also, hopefully this update will correct the "ghost screen" issues I have been experiencing where my screen literally goes crazy and starts opening different screens on its own, changes apps on its own, multiple screens open, etc. I have had this phone less than a month and have been told by both HTC and my carrier the only fix is to master reset but also was told this is only a fix for a few days then I have to reset again plus with this phone not having an SD card, obviously a master reset is a HUGE time consuming issue. A phone with the reviews this one has had and with the price, this absolutely should never have been as issue and certainly a fix should have come along by now. If it isn't corrected I'm told my only option is wait until my next upgrade (2 more years)!!!!???? Seriously, something must be done. I have been an HTC user for a very long time, but this issue alone will change that if not corrected.

You don't have to do anything special. Still there are some bugs . In power saver mode you have to lower the brightness manually, msgs are automatically opened by default in notification bar instead of two finger Swype. Battery drains faster than before. Accurate color Is not reproduced by camera , sometimes underexposed or sometimes overexposed. So just wait for few days.
